This app did what I anticipated. It’s not as user friendly as it could be, but I was able to figure it out (On iOS, I shared the scanned PDF with the app and that pulled it into its queue to password-protect it.). I don’t know the issue those other rater had with it, but it worked flawlessly for me. I was not looking for something that did everything to PDFs. I use Adobe’s free scanner to scan paper documents to PDF and need to send sensitive personal documents to my financial advisor. Waiting to do it on my laptop slowed down the process. So I tried this app last night and it did exactly what it promised: It password-protected my newly scanned PDF for sending through Gmail and my advisor got it, entered the pre-arranged password and was able to work with the document. The convenience was worth the one-time nominal charge of $2.99. Thanks.
Can only be password protected locally. When tried to email it sent unsecured! A total waste of my money!!!
Quick, easy to use. Works perfectly. Thanks for this useful app!
This program is usless it says search no options to search for a total waste of money.
I needed an iPad app that could follow this workflow: scan a document using the Canon scanning app (network connected scanner), export to an app that would encrypt the PDFs and then export those into Evernote for archiving. This app is no bells and whistles, does exactly what I need it to do and is very intuitive. Love that there are no in app purchases or document syncing features or anything like that. Send a PDF to this app using the share function, give it a password and export it using the share function. I was skeptical since there were no reviews and it was $3 but it's worth every penny.
