PDF Splitter + PDF Merge

First the latest iOS version has no split functionality, only merge. Then, the support link in the app takes you to a post in X with an email. The email bounces back mime failure, address not found. There’s also no way to remove an imported file, no file management whatsoever (besides import). I didn’t bother to try the one and only function, merge. Waste of time.

I searched the AppStore for something to combine PDFs, and there are many. But almost all are subscription-based and that wasn’t going to work with me, as I need this function only rarely (maybe 5-10 times per year). So I was very happy to find this app. It did NOT try to force a damned subscription on me — in fact, it was completely FREE. But I would suggest to the developer that it charge a reasonable one-time fee, or request a voluntary donation (“Buy me a coffee” style). To summarize, this app simply does what it claims — perfectly and for free.

This is a fantastic, simple app that does exactly what it advertises to do. No fluff.

If you need to take a group of pdfs, pull pages from multiple files and combine them into a new file, this app is for you. While this can be done with Preview, it requires you to copy pages from one document, open a new file from the clipboard, show the thumbnails, and then drag and drop. I found it easier to use PDF Merge & PDF Splitter. My only suggestion: it would be great to add a page preview function when selecting a page or page range.

If you add PDF editing to this app it will be wonderful
