Is Peace & Quiet legit?
🤔 The Peace & Quiet app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
all of the audios are lovely but they cut out at times and its hard to mix sounds and stop them and its not a well made app. i can hear when the sound loops and it really distracts me whether im meditating, studying, reading, sleeping, etc. also sometime it just stops playing and resumes again after a second. really weird
Great simple app, can use improvement
Love the app (and the brand). The interface is minimalist and easy to use, and the sounds are high quality. However, something needs to be done about the end of the sound loops. It’s distracting and obvious when the loop ends. The loops either need to be much longer, or there should be a gentle fade out and back in. Additionally, it would be helpful to adjust the volume of each individual sound while they’re playing together. Aside from these quirks, I recommend the app
Great expect for a few things
Absolutely love just wish there was a feature to adjust the sounds separately. For example I want the storm sound a lot louder and the jungle sound quieter but instead I have to deal with the muted storm and the LOUD jungle because they all are the same noise level.
Waves is not a waves sound
Waves is the same sound as creek, so clearly not waves. But other sounds are good. Kitchy app
Love.
Love all the sounds! What drew me in was the cleanness and simplicity of the look. Would appreciate a longer loop and not such an abrupt end and beginning.
Very relaxing except...
The sounds loop often and that can distract or annoy me. I like the hyper refined minimal approach, a single page app with no user options. 5 stars
It’s worth critiquing the horizontal scroll bar that appears when I touch outside the buttons. I also feel the spacing (at least on my XS screen) is a bit tight between the buttons and header/footer. Very small details
Great potential.
Waves are more of a river sound, different from creek it’s lower in tone and less abrasive so I actually like ‘wave’ but it should actually be a ‘wave’ and possibly add whatever sound it currently is to river, because I absolutely love it,
It does need to have a better loop because it just ends and begins again so that is abrupt and sad. One thing that would be awesome is if you could adjust the mix/volume of each individual sound to completely create your perfect
Ambient sounds
Love it!
I love the simplicity and ease of using this app. The sounds sound authentic and I love how you can layer them together. My favorite is the Rain sound with Birds. Also, super awesome that it plays in the background while I’m using other apps!
Love it- but one thing
I’m really enjoying this app. I’ve been using it a lot lately and my go to especially while staying at home bone thank you to those who developed this app for free to the public! One thing, the “creek” and the “wave” sound are the same. Waves are one of the most calming things for me but the app plays the “creek” sound and there is no “wave” sound. Other then that love this app
Audio not working
When I tap on a sound and turn my volume up, no sound plays. FYI in case others are experiencing.
