Using augmented reality, this app is fast and smooth, displaying information about the peaks near you. Position any peak within the cross hairs to see useful information, including peak name, height, distance from you, and also the difference in height from your current altitude.

Even if some peaks are behind others Peak Scanner still allows you to get details on them (shown in grey).

A complete and utter scam. It doesn’t work. I should have read the reviews. I wish I could get my money back.

I want my money back!

The app only opened long enough to get permission to use location, then crashed, and has never opened again! Quantaq said to delete the app and install it again. Made no difference whatsoever.

Save yourself the three bucks

Stupid app. Concept is sound but failing to recognize a single peak in Banff Alberta, Canada's oldest and most revered and popular national park is the first drawback I've encountered. Disappointed? You bet.
