Excellent

recommended by a special needs therapist as a great intro to comprehension for special needs children starting to work n WH questions. Nice one fun one to ease the children into.

Other Duck Duck Moose apps are much better

Limited function asking Who-questions with some answers not very obvious to a young child.

Unique, but could offer more

Good idea with the questions about emotions etc. but doesn't offer a lot of content. My toddler plays it occasionally but never for very long. Cute graphics.

Doesn't go far enough

This could be a really good app since it asks "who" questions, includes concepts, and changes the character answers for the questions. The child also gets clear feedback when choosing the correct answer. But the same set of questions repeats over and over. This could be expanded to include many more basic concepts, as well as more "wh" questions types. It could start at the simple levels then increase to more complex ones and still challenge the 2-3 year old age group. I would give it a 5 star rating if it did that but as it is, I can only give it 3 stars.

Irresponsible

The top left side of the intro page is a large ad for their other apps, with appealing colorful cartoons. It is HUGE compared to the small, boring arrow in the right hand corner, which is the button to start the game. A toddler will try to touch the colorful ad, and then be sent to the app store instead of the game. I have restrictions set so my toddler can't buy anything, but she gets frustrated and needs my help to get back in the game. This is ridiculous to advertise to a 2 year old. I can't believe Common Sense Media gave this an editors pick. Please, developers, make a settings option to TURN OFF ADS to 2 year olds. This is otherwise a cute app.

Great
