Now includes three new animals, an updated look, and new animations!
Inside a little bouncing barn, friendly farm animals are waiting to pop out and surprise your little one. Try and guess who they are; tap the doors to find out!
Work with your child to learn the names of animals and hear the sounds they make. Younger children will love opening the barn doors to find a new animal animation, as they learn about cause and effect and become familiar with animal names and sounds. Older children will enjoy guessing animals by sound, then seeing the animal names, which helps develop early literacy skills.
Multiple Language Features:
Press the Language button on the Options screen to try them out.
--Choose from the built-in narrators: child's voice in English; adult's voice in English or Spanish.
--Record your own voice: We added this feature so parents, children, and visiting relatives and friends can capture their own voices and star in Peekaboo Barn. Now you can record the animal names in your native language--or grandma's voice, or grandpa's--and, if you're recording a new language, you can save the appropriate written version too, and both will show up the next time you play. (Please note, we can only support the writing systems that are supported by your device.)
--Additional languages included with purchase: Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Japanese, Swedish, Dutch, Italian, German, French and UK English.

It has been a top 20 educational game on the iTunes store nearly every day since its launch, and has been featured by Apple often. It won The Best Toddler App Ever award in 2009, and was named one of the top 50 iPhone apps for kids by Babble.com in 2010 and 2011. It is recommended by The New York Times, MSNBC, USA Today, Wired, Telegraph UK, Ireland’s The Independent, Parents Magazine, and the Washington Post.

Love this!!!
Amazing app! Does all the typical animals, has the ability to change the voice, I think the little kid is the cutest and is the most helpful to smaller kids, as they pronounce them the same. Is great as a "slow down" or quiet time game.
Would love to rate 4.5 stars as I really wish that it was an all in one app so I could have the other two animal apps (wild and forest) and barn in one place and have like a menu to select which one to go into. I would also love if there was a "peekaboo ocean" and "peekaboo dinosaurs" because then we could cover all the bases of what littles are usually into!
Over all AMAZING app!! I recommend it to every one!
Options Broken
Bought this to use other languages. Seems like the app is broken since no matter if I follow the instructions, the options will not come up and I cannot change the language or record my own audio, etc. Very dissapointed, save your money.
Beautiful, simple game
My 2 year old loves this game. He has motor delays, and it’s just perfect for him to play independently.
Great app, there are other voices available
My kid loves the sounds it makes and has been practicing to replicate the animal noises. Some users pointed out how they were disappointed that it’s a child’s voice that pronounced the animals, but there is an option to change it. It’s located in the options menu, under languages. Funny how some parents are trying to teach their kids names, but they themselves don’t know how to look around the app for the options. The fruit doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
Voice needs to change
Great app minus the horrible pronunciations of the animal names. They should consider at least having a child that can say the animals names correctly... not call it a wabbit.
Fabulous
Love this app! My son started playing this at 8 months old, and it continues to be his favourite five months later. He's obsessed. Worth every dollar!! My go-to when he's fussy.
disappointed
I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist and I work with preschool aged children (between the ages of birth to school-entry). I bought this app to use with the children on my caseload. I wanted to use it as a listening activity (e.g. listen to the animal sound and figure out what animal it is) then have the child I am working with name the animal before opening the barn door. I am very disappointed with the voices that are naming the animals. The number of sound errors made in the pronunciations provide a poor model for the children on my caseload whom I want to provide clear word models to. With the app as it is, I will not be using it in my therapy. I had hoped this would be a great app that I could recommend to my colleagues, but unfortunately I will not be able to do that.
Good app 1 negative
I wish when they say the animal it was an adult saying it, instead of a baby. I bought this app for my child to learn how to say words/animals and I find when the baby says it you cannot always understand each syllable.
Best kids app!! A+++
Love this app. My kids have all loved this app. I just wish the cat still meowed when the door opened.
Great app, only wish more user control at end
My 2 year old loves the layout and style of this game, it has cute graphics and very easy to use. The only thing is at the end of the game there is a scene where the animals are sleeping. He smiles at them and wants to see them longer, but it is not user controlled and goes by really quickly and he gets very frustrated at this. Wish the end was user controlled. Another thing is I thought there was a barn party at the end. Maybe a few balloons or something?
