Peglin

A Pachinko Roguelike

Published by: Red Nexus Games

Description

The award-winning roguelike-deckbuilder Peglin is finally available on iOS! This version lets you try it before you buy it with unlimited access to the first third of the game and a one-time purchase to own the complete game and all future updates!
The dragons have been popping peglins and stealing all of your gold for as long as you can remember. Enough is enough. It's time to venture through the woods, conquer the fortress, and delve into the heart of the dragon's lair to take back what's yours and teach those dragons a lesson.
Peglin plays like a combination of Peggle and Slay the Spire. The enemies are tough, and if you're defeated your run is over, but you've got powerful orbs with special effects and incredible relics that influence both your enemies and the physics you'll use to defeat them.
Features:
- Collect and upgrade powerful orbs and relics to defeat the monsters and bosses that stand in your way.
- Fight enemies with Pachinko-like gameplay - hit more pegs to do more damage. Use crit potions, refresh potions, and bombs wisely.
- Explore a new map every time, with different orbs, enemies, and surprises along the way.

Super addicting game.

Excited for more

So much potential for this game, it’s so much fun. My only complaint is a lack of diversity in the level layouts, it gets slightly repetitive especially when all the other mechanics are so diverse, but I understand this game is still technically early access.

Great game

Slay the spire + peggle = a great game. The free version only has the first stages but it also has no ads.

Such a underrated game

This game is really, like really good. U somehow manage to combine peggle and roguelike into such a fun game. This is just from playing the free version, but I'll be expecting even more good gameplay in the full version. Keep it up dev, u're doing great!!

So good, don’t trust the bad reviews. Most of are just, me no good at game, me angry!!! But, if you like pegglin then you should like this game, it does have some luck but mostly skill.

Gotta love Peglin

I personally believe Peglin is a fun game. It’s an rng based game where you’re either prepared or you’re not. I personally find this game fun, and only really get upset with it because my luck is absolutely awful. However, this review ISN’T a list of meaningless complaints about the game requiring a cost, nor is it a long time-wasting rant about the game being bad because of my skill issue. It’s a simple request to… fix the gravity. You see, I personally believe that the gravity can be a bit too bouncy. Your orb hits a single peg, and it’ll fly straight to the end of the board, not hitting anything else and wasting a turn. This might just be another skill issue for me, but this issue has popped up several times. If you made the pegs a little less bouncy so the orbs don’t just sail offscreen, then I’d be happy.

Just downloaded this to try it after watching someone stream it. It looks like it could be fun. Just tried it and absolutely do not like the way it feels at all. Shot 2 balls and quit. Will not be trying it again. I would say as it's free to try, try it and see what you think. There is no harm in that at all.

Great concept stretched far too thin

Cruciball is a terrible, awful idea - it’s a lazy attempt to create the illusion of content. It’s quite obvious the devs knew they only had 10 hours of gameplay on their hands, so they added an optional difficulty padding mechanic that only strains and exarcebates the problems with the game: the orb bloat, the terrible peg layouts, the reliance on rng to get a functional build, the lackluster and situational relics, the utterly boring and useless chance (“?”) rooms, the neglect of the peggle side of the game in general. Cruciball is so awful for two reasons: it does not reward you in any way aside from a higher Cruciball level - it further constrains the fun, creativity, and spontaneity of the game by forcing you to build “what works”, which gets narrower and narrower the higher you go, while making it harder to twist the rng in your favor, with gold gain reductions, multiple deadweight orbs, max health and healing reductions. I would have made Cruciball levels unlockable the same way you unlock the classes, by meeting unique and challenging conditions rather than just beating the game. I also would have made them all individually toggleable, and for each modifier you have, you gain points that can be spent on starting relics or orbs. Feel like that defeats the point of a challenge mode? Then don’t spend the points! It’s mind boggling that anyone thought this was a good idea, something that could likely only have happened after a severe toxification of the brain by orb and circle related puns. It’s not just unfun but calls increasing and repeated attention to the game’s flaws.

Great time killer

I’ve spent many hours on the pc version so I bought mobile to keep the fun on the go. Amazing game I just wish there was a feature for a portrait mode layout so I don’t need to hold my phone sideways
