Pencil Journal - Digital Diary

This has the makings of a valuable personal tool, and it will satisfy anyone that can adequately use its programmed prompts. I don’t want to use their prompts. I want to use my prompts. And at least for awhile, I want the same prompts everyday. App Creator, I’ve tried but all I can do is replace today’s prompts. It resets to the pre-programmed prompts the next day.

There is no way to lock the journal for people sharing the device. The prompt page is not easy to scroll or read after you’ve written in it, every time I try to scroll I would draw a line on my handwritten section by accident, maybe don’t allow hand sensor only pencil can make marks on the written areas. The prompt questions are good, great idea to get people to write. I wish the app would offer a test before purchasing the app. I’m going to request a refund bc I do not like this app.

I got this app to keep track of my physical and mental health. Also to have time to just sit and write everyday. However I have a few issues. The type option does have any way of making the font size larger or change color. Which takes away from the journal experience for me personally. I would also like some sticker options honestly. I would like to add more personality to it. Just as I do with my physical journals. However since this is for health I wanted a digital option so I could always have a record. If these little things were fixed this app would be perfect.

When I try to highlight it isn’t allowing me to select large areas of writing. The only thing that highlights is the area I long press. It gives me handles that I would assume are for dragging the highlight further up or down the doc but it doesn’t work. The copy/paste/select/etc. tools do not consistently pop up either.

Just Very basic wish it had more features for what u pay. But very nice indeed.

Would be great if there is an indication on the calendar of which days have entries since we don’t necessarily journal everyday. There are days where the journal is blank.

I’m sorry... for wasting my money I thought this would be a great app but I like the ones where you can make actual books and flip the pages not have one and have to press a stupid arrow. AND WHERE ARE THE STICKERS! For 3$ you would hope you would at least get stickers. And it won’t let me delete any pictures unless I deleted everything. Please make this a better app before you rip people off. I would greatly appreciate an update with all my suggestions/ things this app needs. So glad I didn’t by the bundle prob just as irritating 😠 very sorry for this review it might sound harsh but I’m irritated I wasted 3$ on something that doesn’t even meet my expectations. Pleaseeeeee I beg of you add my suggestions.
