Pennant (formerly Race to the Pennant) is an fun new way to keep up with sports standings all season long. In addition to baseball, Pennant now includes football, basketball, hockey, and soccer standings with more sports on the way!
Watch your team as it advances in its division throughout the year, and - hopefully - secures a place in the playoffs. Additionally, dive into the detailed win-loss record of every team and compare the teams' recent performance. See who is leading the league all season long in a very easy to grasp, visual format.
In addition to our classic bar chart views of league standings, Pennant now has a completely new My Pennant view, allowing you to choose from a selection of content blocks displaying different types of stats and standings data. You can even mix and match between different sports, years, divisions, and teams! These blocks are even available as system widgets in iOS 14 or later, meaning you can keep track of the current standings without even opening the app!
Pennant fully supports dark mode and the team colors pop on the dark background. Additionally, new gestures make it easy to navigate around the interface, exploring stats and standings in seconds.
Purchase Pennant Premium and create an unlimited customized view, access all customizable content blocks as system widgets, see game results, detailed team stats, previous years' results, set a favorite team for quick glances in a widget, and more! Pennant Premium users also get to vote on upcoming features. And your Premium membership encourages and supports independent app development. (See more information about Pennant Premium below.)
Available as a universal app for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, stay in the know with Pennant!

Paid subscriber for a broken app that I can’t get support for…
I used to love and swear by this app. Been a paid subscriber for years and years. Lately it doesn’t update scores. NHL scores are almost a month old. Tried all the usual moves to get it to refresh. But that’s not the 1-Star review, it’s the ability to message the dev for help. “Support” is X [FKA Twitter] but I cannot DM the app profile; and I cannot DM the dev human unless I spend money to get X Verified. Frustrating and an absurd waste of my time.
Widget useless
Downloaded mainly for the widget. You can only have One widget with the free version which is fine. However I quickly removed it because I needed to resize the widget, and it now says I have to upgrade to premium to even use one. I tried deleting and re installing the entire app and it still won’t let me. So don’t make that mistake, or honestly just don’t bother. The app itself I didn’t spend much time with but it seems very clogged and messy and I’m not sure what purpose it would serve that your regular sports apps wouldn’t. Seems like a school project
Subscription add on
I have paid for the app already. It's unfair to change the terms of how the app operates after years of use. I also paid for race for the playoffs which the app developer ditched after taking my money.
I understand the need to continue making money but I will not be subscribing going forward.
Great app
This app visually gives you the info you need to see the MLB standings quickly. Don't forget to swipe to see the playoff standings as well! Great job
Fantastic
If you're a baseball fan, this is the go to app to quickly check the standings. I use it frequently.
Good app
Easy to use and keep track of how every team is looking in each division
Great, slick app
This is an incredibly smooth app that looks great and works flawlessly. Great for baseball fans.
Nest UI, but
Although the UI is interesting, even without working in landscape mode which is odd - the app is very frustrating. To the point that in my opinion, paying $0.99 for it is a mistake. The reason, I do not need up to the minute updates, but when the data does not get updated until 12+ hours after a game is played, it is useless. Image being late in the season in an actual pennant race - you would not use this, but would instead just go to a website. If the data updates were in a reasonable amount of time, say an hour or two after a game, then this would be a nice app
