I really enjoy renovation games. I find it extremely satisfying. And Penny and Flo and of course the indomitable Daphne, make for such a fun and entertaining game.

Until it came to the South African renovation. Quite frankly as a South African I find this renovation insulting and petty and stuck in an era that no longer exists. The poaching/hunting is something that unfortunately exists and it would have been been sufficient to run off the hunters as the fairytale ending.

But to cast South Africans as stupid, Afrikaans buffoons, stuck in an era LONG GONE, is beyond the pale. 

Stick to what you know and leave politics out of gaming.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I have to say that this app in “my opinion” is much better than Lily’s Garden. I’m really getting tired of Lily’s Garden because it’s the same thing over and over again…flowers and trees. With Penny & Flo you get a whole lot of house renovation, but also some outside renovation with gardening. As far as the characters, I love them. Sure some of them are silly but I don’t call them silly, I call them fun. I like the characters in Lily’s Garden, except for Lily. She’s just too namby-pamby for me. Very naïve. Almost to the point of being ridiculous. Plus Penny & Flo is continuously changing storylines. They finish up a story, go someplace else and start up a whole new story. I can’t see how anyone can say anything against this app?
