Pentix Nova - Falling Blocks

How is this game even called a tetris kind of game? There are just too many weird shapes that don’t fit in the box…

These shapes used are very weird. May be ok if you’re not looking for the old school Tetris game

I like this game but the drop button being on both sides is very awkward. My right hand is flipping the block while my left presses the drop button but more then anything. Disabling them and using the tiny little drop button in the top of screen it is very annoying also. Please enable a settings button enabling either side to be used.

Change the way you drop I should only be able to drop the Tetris when click the button not tappin on the screen. I’ve lost so many times because of accidentally sliding my finger when turning to change the position of the Tetris fix that

As of the last few days there is a bug in adventure mode where sometimes the goal line does not exist or is on the bottom of the screen. I understand that the bottom of the screen may be intentional, but when the line does not exist it is impossible to win.

It’s a serviceable Tetris variant. At first I was making a lot of mistakes with the touch controls but you get used to them and the app has a decent enough UI. the Pentix game mode with only pentominoes is pretty difficult by nature and that’s where some of the mechanics start to be a problem. The hold function in this game doesn’t work like other games, making it feel punishing. Basically in other tetris games you can switch the held piece at will, but in this game you have to hold and then unhold that piece before you can hold again. There are some problematic pieces that you basically will want to hold 100% of the time, so you have to be playing around this hold and unhold mechanic which is a bit frustrating. It’s not as big a deal with the other game modes which are significantly easier. All in all I’ve sunk some time into this one so nice job.

I’m getting “Critical Error! pentix_classic_level_adventure_1.yaml :92: Duplicate LEVEL tag: a_tree_house_gems_15” It boots me out the game.

I think this might be the worst game I have ever played so many glitches bugs. The blogs were moving when they weren’t supposed to. Honestly, there’s so many better Tetris games.

Simply the best Tetris game I ever played.

Ad-free version still has an add that blocks the bottom of the screen that prevents player from seeing the bottom of the clearly. It pretty much defeats the whole point of the game.
