Updated: VPNs work now. Thanks! I love your product and I've tried almost all the AI tools out there. I use Perplexity every day for things as diverse as work (programming help, learning new tech stacks etc), vacation planning, reading the 'Discover' section to keep up with advances in tech, financial planning (stock research) and so much more. Original review: As a paid user, it's really frustrating that the app won't even let you log in when you use a VPN. I've confirmed this is because of the VPN because the web interface presents a CAPTCHA challenge. Apparently, the app is unable to do that. Personally, I think a paid user should be allowed access via VPN even without a CAPTCHA but I concede that that might open the doors to nefarious usage of the platform. So how about compromising and updating the app to support CAPTCHAs?

Perplexity offers answers that actually make sense and don’t send you down a rabbit hole of frustrating and conflicting responses. I appreciate this a great deal as it’s in stark contrast to the murky Google machine which has the propensity to be infuriating and uniquely unhelpful.
