Petfinder - Adopt a Pet

Petfinder is the BEST app for getting a pet I could filter through and pick options for a pet that's best for me I was able to get the perfect cat for me you should definitely get this app!

I love this app it would be perfect if it wasn’t for a major glitch where it will just constantly close the app on you for no reason!

For some reason it won’t let me customize the location areas to see where the most puppies area available and honestly Petfinder has been very laggy and it will randomly kick me out of the app when I am looking at dogs. It’s just been all VERY FRUSTRATING! If someone could please look at it and fix it please! That would be very helpful!

Petfinder helps me find the best pets the might help me convince my parents to get a cat, dog, hamster, Guinea pig, etc. The filters help me find the PERFECT pet! Overall pet finder is one of the best apps I have ever had!!!

The idea of the app is great. I love the concept of the app but the format and coding of it is very much off. I adopted my cat off the app and I am very grateful that I found him off of it. I am recently looking to adopt a dog as well and I decided to use the app. It was very glitchy and laggy. I got kicked off of the app whenever I tried to open it. The pictures would load and every time I clicked on a pet the app would shut down and I would have to restart it. I would use the website instead because it did not have that problem but it kept asking for my email after I already signed in several times. With a few tweaks I think this app would be perfect, but for now I will have to go with different options.

I really wish they had an expiration on old posts. I was looking for a bunny to adopt in my area and was excited about many but then they all turned out to be YEARS old so I don’t even know if those bunnies are still available or what age they are now. If the posts expired then posters would be encouraged to renew and update the posts and that would make this app actually useable.

My only issue is that when you’re browsing, sorted by newest or nearest, it’ll reset to best match every time you click a profile. I do wish the algorithm was a LITTLE better in getting a good order of results based on all metrics.

I love this app!! However, for the past couple of months I’ve been refraining from using it. It crashes constantly. Sometimes I can scroll for a few minutes, sometimes only a few seconds. Please fix this!

I love Petfinder I’m asking my parents if I can get a dog this year

This app is great! Using this to find a new dog. But I wish they had more weight options. For example : I need a dog less than 35 pounds but the only options are 30-60 pound dogs or 0-25 pound dogs.
