Great app
I have the fountain and feeder for a while now and the app is helping nice with the feeding schedule. Even on my travels I can still see my cat through the camera and see what’s he’s doing. Never lost connection in any case, even when out of country. It’s an excellent app with the things you need and no extra fluff.
New product with major software flaws
UPDATE 18/12:
Still no improvement. Even after the last update. I’ve returned the device to Philips to get my money back. Today we’ve received a PetLibro feeder. No more Philips devices for me.
UPDATE 29/11:
We’re almost 2 months further and still no updates. Now even time scheduling isn’t working properly. It should dispense at 7:30. Did get a notification at 7:00, but it actually dispensed at 8:30. Time for an update a.s.a.p.!

For a (originally) Dutch company the Dutch translation can be way better (Save-> Bespaar!? / Clear -> Helder!?). It is also not possible to share access with another user. Using the same account on different phones signs you out on the other devices and you need to re-enter the verification code every time you open the app on a different phone. Also the notifications are way too much. Why sending an announcement 30 minutes before feeding time!? Also, when the camera is enabled, it’s not possible to disable the movement notifications. The app looks nice, but definitely needs improvement.
the feeder disconnects regularly and leaves your pet without food
The feeder works well when it works. Nice in a while it disconnects from the app and stops serving food. Very unreliable for a cat left alone for a couple of days. Gave us terrible experience while we were away. Nothing helps t connect it back but deleting the feeder from the app and pairing it again, which requires physical presence. Very disappointing.
Niet betrouwbaar
De app is niet echt betrouwbaar. Vaak logt deze vanzelf uit of werkt hij ineens niet (livefeed blijft eeuwig bufferen en snelle maaltijd functie geeft foutmelding) waardoor ik mijn kat geen eten kan geven. Daarnaast kan je maar met 1 persoon een huishouden bedienen via de app, wat super onhandig is. Ik dacht dat dit apparaat mij ging helpen mijn kat betrouwbaar en regelmatig eten te geven als ik er niet ben maar op deze manier wordt dat doel niet echt gehaald.

Hi, I have a major issue with your app. A lot of people have and it is not to understand a company like Philips puts out this on the market. Very disappointed.
Have a iPhone mini 14 with latest updates software.
When you sign up for the app afterwards almost every time (literally only once in 78 times) I was able to log in. All other attempts the app goes into an infinite ooop where it asks you to sign up and if you do it says you are already signed up and goes to log in screen and if you log in it asks again to sign up… ebdlessyly. Went back to store, called Philips etc etc and nobody understood but told me it happens with more people. It makes an expensive pet feeder completely useless.
So disappointed. I buy Philips literary for everything but this is not to the usual standard.
Are you planning to solve this simple bug anytime soon? I already returned my 3 feeders.

App full of bugs
Signing up or logging in the app is impossible. Versuni customer service said it’s an issue with the verification code, they know about it but haven’t fixed it. I managed to log in after numerous attempts and meals are not saved. A notification “something went wrong” keeps popping up. A ridiculous app for a €160 appliance.
Also dissapointed
I cannot find the time the device uses. Suddenly (as of yesterday) all meals are given one hour later than indicated in the app. There has been no change in time (e.g. daylight savings).
There is no way to give feedback in the app.
Also it would be nice to select which messages you’d like to get, instead ‘all or nothing’. E.g. I don’t need all the detection messages, but I would a message when it’s time to fill the feeder or replace the water filter. It would also be nice to be directed to a website that sells the water filters.
It has potential to become great
I’ve always chosen Philips for their products, apps and services, but this time they’ve really let me down with this app. I recently started using this app with my Philips pet feeder, and it’s immediately clear that the app is poorly designed and lacks optimization.
Here are some key issues:
- You can’t share access with family members.
- There’s no option to choose the types of notifications you receive. So you will be bombarded with notifications!
- There’s no “Do Not Disturb” schedule to pause notifications during specific times.
- GPS functionality could be added to stop video recording when you’re at home (I need my privacy please!).
- In live video mode, the speaker (hearing mode) icon is unclear and awkwardly placed within the video instead of being a separate button near the microphone.
- Why is there no icon or indicator in the app to show whether there’s enough food in the feeder or if it’s empty?
And these are just a few of the problems.
While I’m happy with the product itself, I’m very dissatisfied with the app. I hope Philips addresses these issues and adds more features in future updates. If they can improve the app, this could easily become the most advanced and reliable pet feeder on the market!

Meeste beoordelingen gaan over het gebrek dat er maar één gebruiker ingelogd kan worden op het apparaat. In de reacties van Versuni staat iedere keer dat er binnenkort een update komt. Maar vandaag 26 november 2024 is de nieuwste versie nog steeds 1.1.0. Ook de voorgestelde workaround werkt niet (met hetzelfde e-mailadres inloggen) want het Huis-ID is niet hetzelfde. Ik vrees voor de continuïteit van dit product wanneer er geen updates komen en ik dus een kat in de zak gekocht heb.
App doesn’t work
I cannot sign in with an existing or new account. So the whole app doesn’t do what it is supposed to do. I hope that IF it works, it is possible to use it on 2 phones.
