Phoebe - Family Recipes

Healthy, starts early!

Description

Phoebe is a healthy cooking app for families with young children. There are no ads or third party trackers and our app offers a private and secure way to view and cook recipes using 60 second videos.
If you are weaning a baby this is your best source of inspiration but if you have older children or special dietary needs you’ll find delicious recipes that can help you reduce salt and sugar in their diet.
Phoebe is developed by parents for parents. These are our guiding principles:
1. Family always comes first
2. Minimise the consumption of ultra processed foods
3. No sugar or salt for under 2 years olds.
4. Cooking is fun, creative and everyone can do it!
5. Plan ahead when you can. You’ll skip some unhealthy meals and cut costs if you do.
6. Cooking is healthier than almost any ready meal. Certainly better for the wallet and for the planet.
7. Our food system is a major contributor to climate change. Our diets should take this into consideration. This is also better for health.
8. Train your taste buds! You’ll be surprised
9. Less screen time, more quality time with kids.
10. Privacy is a human right, no small print.
Whether you are an experienced cook or just a beginner Phoebe’s intuitive recipe book with videos and world-class design will help you quickly prepare delicious food that does not compromise health for families and children.
Children tend to eat better when parents share the same food with them, so all our recipes can be enjoyed by the whole family but are especially great for young people.
Phoebe is carefully designed and tested with other parents like you to provide the ease-of-use you need as a parent. We strive for simple ingredients, most of which you’ll have in your pantry. This version comes loaded with over 75 staple recipes and counting, in four main categories: Mains, Snacks, Drinks and Breakfasts and an ingredient search. You can view recipes by recommended age (6, 8, 10 and 12 months old) and you can filter out common allergies like gluten, dairy, nut, shellfish and egg as well as freezable and diet preferences.
Phoebe is exclusively made for iPhone to provide the best experience. It is updated frequently with new content, features and user experience improvements as per your feedback. We’re listening carefully to each one of you in order to create the smoothest experience in introducing nutritious, tasty food to millions of families with children.
We believe that prepping fresh meals and knowing what’s inside is always the healthiest option for our babies. We strive to keep processed ingredients to an absolute minimum. We know that time and cooking experience can be limiting. Phoebe uses the latest technologies for making it easy for all parents and carers, to take on the challenge of weaning with freshly home-cooked meals.
