Excellent app
I am a primary school teacher and mother of 3. This app is brilliant for helping children to spell and practice phonics. Recommend to parents and friends with young children. The explanation available on the app to the grown ups is great for those not familiar with how phonics works. Using kipper biff book characters is great as children relate to it through what they read at school. Highly recommend.
great learning app, my kids use it all the time. great with the characters that they love.
My daughter (Year1) had a book version of this dictionary. The app version is even better - all words are voiced and the spelling tests are added. The app runs smoothly as well.
My son uses this book and this digital version is great. Nice added options like the stickers and certificates.
I've tried other dictionary apps before but this one is nice because it uses phonics, which my daughter is learning at school. I like the spelling test option and my daughter enjoys the stickers.
Really useful dictionary. Sorts the sounds by phonics rather than the alphabet. Spelling test is a good extra
The random spelling test is the only user interaction you get, the other sections have no functionality barring a spoken word dictionary. Why have stickers if the user can't do anything with them? The same for the 'my words' section- you can input words, but it has no follow-through. Not worth £1 let alone £5.
