Photo Cleaner -Album organizer

I love this app as you can filter your photos/videos by size.. If only it worked. Devs please fix this! When I filter by size and the photo library is edited (new photo/screenshot taken, photo deleted on IOS photo app, photo edited on IOS app), the screen goes black. I filter by date or length and it works. When I try doing by size, it loads forever. Definitely a 5 star once this is fixed :)

A few days after installing this, thousands off my older photos disappeared from my phone and from iCloud. Gone forever, without a trace. Not duplicates, but months of photos at a time going back several years. Unable to recover them. I had scanned using the app to identify duplicates, but not yet executed a cleanup operation. Suggest you have several backups made of your photos before you try this app.

App seems great at detecting duplicates and similar photos, but the promised ‘big button’ for selecting all but the one you want to keep is MIA. Please update the app to include this button once again as it appears to have disappeared in your current version.

First of all the App (which is free to download) greets you with a splash screen that gives you 3 options to pay for premium access monthly, annually or FREE TRIAL which bills you the annual fee after 3 days. I thought I had to choose one of these options and was about to delete the app altogether (I mean I should see what the app can actually do before paying $49 a year for it..right?) but then I noticed a very semitransparent (almost invisible ultra light grey X) in the corner and pressed this to get past the purchase splash screen so I could actually use the app to see whether I should buy it. First of all, out of 3000 photos the app didn’t identify any duplicates, so using the app I manually went through all my photos and manually selected the duplicates which took me over an hour to do. So after I did all the work, visually identifying the duplicate photos, I clicked on the trash can to delete my selections. But the message I got was that there is a limit to delete only 10 photos per day unless I upgrade to premium. I did all the work and all of it was a colossal waste of time as I just should have used the built in photo iOS App to do exactly the same thing, but for free. Also, there is an app that actually finds the duplicates and preselect the extraneous copies before allowing you to delete them, all without the trickery and underhanded tactics this app employs. As I get older I realise that time is a commodity I can’t restore by hitting undo…so if you are thinking of getting this app, don’t undo, just “um…don’t.”

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR AN APP TO DELETE YOUR DUPLICATES. DO NOT BUY THIS. It does not give you the option to delete all of the duplicate/similar images. Instead if makes you single handedly review and click through to delete them. As someone with 15k photos in their album, I used this for 10 minutes and gave up. I don’t understand. This app makes me single handedly review each duplicate it finds... and out of 13k photos it apparently only found 100 duplicate/similar images, which I know for a fact is bs, otherwise I would not of bought this app in the first place, and it took like ten minutes to tap through all of the boxes. Maybe give me 7 days to use the recently deleted feature if there’s something I desperately want returned.. I could of singularly deleted each of my photos without spending any money...

Great app but it keeps on crashing so you only get three or four attempts to delete photos and I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it working again.

Sensational!!!! 😃 I had 28k photos on my iPad of which approx 7400 were duplicates. In this update having that option to select all except the original photo has made it so much easier and less time consuming. 👌 **** HIGHLY RECOMMEND **** 👌

This app is great reduces all my large files and screenshots down to the perfect size. Best thing since sliced bread. ***** five stars to the version 3 update. Love the options that you have added. It’s faster than before and I’m glad of that

This photo cleaner is so much easier to use and allows you to delete what you wish - picture by picture - love it x

Absolute rubbish. Simply doesn’t work. Save your money
