A good app
I love this app
Not worth the time or money
There are some problems. I tried the cartoon effect and my skin color was very off I’m tan and when I cartooned myself I was very pale. That was very disappointing. It didn’t even look like how it did in the ads. I could draw it better. My money was wasted.
SCAM!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
Do not let your kids download this “free” app. We have parental controls set up so that a parent has to approve downloads of any app, and since this is listed as free, we allowed it. Somehow he was automatically signed up for an $80 year long subscription. Reading other recent reviews, it looks like others inadvertently were signed up for subscriptions as well. DO NOT TRUST AND DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Like a lot of these comments mentioned, I thought it was free until I realized that it requires a subscription to use. Deleted the app immediately.
Ridiculous
I downloaded this app and checked it out. Didn't realize they would charge you for a full year's subscription automatically. That's partly my bad, but why is the default to charge for a full year at $75? That's just abusive and shows you're out to hurt people.
Subscription
I downloaded Photopia for a few minuets and then deleted it because it didn't look satisfactory for me. In February of 2021 , they charged me a subscription of $80.00 after I had deleted the app. I never subscribed to any of their plans. This is a rip off and a scam.
Cartoon effect is horrible
The cartoon effect looks like something drawn up by a pre-k student (nothing even close to what the ads show) and the other effects dont even align with your face/head. Avoid!
DO NOT BUY
This app is such a rip-off. It does not work as advertised- the cartoon effect looks nothing like the ads. There is no way to reverse the 1 week trial. I am a broke college student and am $80 broker because of this stupid app. I tried contacting the company over and over, with no response. :((((
