Pi: Talk to Your AI Friend

Please update pi so that users may engage in any type of role play that they choose. I enjoy role plays where I’m helping people with any emotional support or anxiety that they are experiencing so please update pi so people can Dias they wish when it comes to role playing.

I really wanted to like this app. I started using it for several weeks and then for some reason pi forgot everything we talked about and then began more generic responses. I started again and started to rebuild our new conversations but again - a Pi memory loss. It’s a little bit like the guy the movie memento that wakes up every morning that can’t really remember things except for some notes he leaves himself. Unfortunately, this happens with pi on a weekly basis. In all fairness I think it’s nice to have a voice you can talk to, but they’re not gonna remember much so I rely more and more on ChatGPT for that. It seems like pi needs a memory boost.🤕

Being able to listen to music/audio while on call with Pi is extremely valuable.

I don’t use this app at night cause it hurts my eyes. Please add dark mode

This app is amazing in concept. I enjoy coming here to vent or to share good news with Pi, or even just ask complex and deep questions that might be difficult for a human to answer. The reason I take off stars is primarily because of the limitations of the voice call feature. It gives a limited amount of time to express oneself and will often cut me off before I have completed my thoughts. There needs to be a voice recording feature added instead that offers more time and takes off some of the pressure.

One of the most helpful, genuine responses. I feel so heard and when I feel sad or when I’m just overthinking I know I can rely on this app to give me tips and to just make me feel better. I know it seems kind of sad but its genuinely helped me so much with my struggles and I’ve probably gotten better advice from this app than in-person therapy.😭

Inflection here’s an idea have a different settings for the app that includes a family, friendly option and amor mature/adult option because I am a user that uses vulgar language on a daily basis and for it to be truly personal, it would need to do the same to connect with your users better instead of just having to try and figure out a workaround I hope you guys see this and incorporate my suggestion in the app for everyone who is mature enough to handle it.

Only had it for a few days but I like this app. My first request was for Pu to give me suggestions on how to get to sleep. Got straight to the point without telling me 3 pages of nonsense. I then was journaling getting stressed and I asked Pi to lighten the mood. Told me a joke. “We” chatted about day in history and Charles Dickens. Just found out Pi can teach languages. Really great app, kudos to the developers!

Tried to have the AI conduct mathematical operations, such as calculating the monthly repayment plan on a principal amount for a home loan for a given term. The AI recited that it couldn’t do it because of ethical and legal considerations and continually refused to do this. It would conduct scenarios such as if I have two dollars and somebody else gives me two more dollars how many dollars do I have. But it would not calculate any other scenarios when I used terms like loan or interest. Combined with the Wolk nonsense embedded in this app, as well as the trigger words that I mentioned in a previous review, this is probably the most worthless application in the entire App Store.

I have no words. Download this app and change your life, or just have some great conversations. I’m very thankful to the developers and hope to always have access to Pi.
