Welcome to PianoStream the coolest app EVER for all player pianos! Namely Yamaha Disklavier, PianoDisc and Steinway Spirio! And all Digital pianos out there! PIANOSTREAM features MauColi The Pianoman and many other incredible artists from around the world. PianoStream is like Pandora for your player piano! It has two interfaces: Digital and Analog. Because of this, it's compatible with practically EVERYTHING out there!
Works incredibly well with PianoDisc iQ and CD only and Prodigy, PDS128+, PDS228. With ALL Yamaha Disklaviers like the Wagon Grand, MarkII, MarkIII, MarkIV, e3, DKC850, DKC800, and of course Enspire! Works with all QRS systems and all keyboards AS LONG AS they have midi in/out and or a usb midi input. Also now compatible with Pianocorder and Steinway Spirio! Also works directly with MIDI IN on PianoDisc CPUs. This comes in handy when control unit is damaged or missing. This also allows the app to be compatible with really old PD systems like the PDS128 and PDS32. Also compatible with Disklaviers whose head units are damaged. The app doesn't care if the floppy disk and LCD display are damaged.
We have multiple streaming stations for your piano! We cover BEAUTIFUL music that no one else would EVEN think of covering from the 60's, 70's, 80'S and 90's. Also, Modern hits, Classical, Jazz and every other genre. And our Christmas station is the best!
We have a "Requested Songs" station where users around the world submit their requests and also a "Recently Added" station.
The Digital interface uses wireless midi. Our preferred midi device is the WIDI Master which you can purchase on Amazon. Your next best bet is the Yamaha MD-BT01. Both have slight disadvantages and advantages. WIDI Master is fast and usually connects automatically. MD-BT01 is slightly more user friendly but it will not connect automatically however it's easy to update and easy to rename.
The Analog interface works best with WiiM Wi-Fi receiver. This interface will give you Piano + Vocals on select Disklavier and PianoDisc systems. PD or Disklavier solo content also works incredibly well with a Bluetooth audio receiver like the B06 from Amazon. Disklaviers with Analog MIDI IN require a Wi-Fi audio receiver.
PianoDisc Prodigy 1 and 2 have a built in Analog Bluetooth receiver and Bluetooth MIDI receiver therefore it can work with both PianoStream interfaces right out of the box. You can experiment with external midi and audio receivers.
With PianoStream you can stream your own copyrighted music library. You can upload your legally acquired PianoDisc mp3's or Yamaha MIDI files and other third-party content to your iCloud account. Then you can create playlists or "Stations" in PianoStream to stream your music which only you can see and access.
*Much of our material was produced in-house by some really incredible pianists. A lot of it was purchased. We also stream some public domain content. We are fully licensed with ASCAP so as to legally stream all kinds of beautiful music. We do not wish to violate any copyrights. If a concern is ever raised over a song we stream, we will resolve the concern or remove it immediately.
