Don’t waste your money. Terrible UI. I was under the impression I could make a slideshow and add music that I could then export as a video. And that the app would automatically crop and sort photos for me. What a joke. I’ll get a refund
Easy to use and I love this App for scanning my old pictures.
Pretty intuitive and fairly simple to learn, and does a great job of making short work of picture scanning projects. My slow, clunky bed scanner will be sitting collecting dust from this point forward.
HD scanning? At 4MP, scans are identical to Google Photoscan (FREE). No indication of this in description. Wasted $8 on something that's readily available free with a dozen other photo scanner apps.
I've been looking for a reasonably priced app that will allow me to scan and restore old pictures. I read reviews about many different apps and decided to risk $7.99 on this one. After playing around with it for a while, I have to say that I am disappointed in the results. The app works okay when it comes to scanning, but it didn't do anything to help restore pictures that have become discolored. You are provided with some editing tools, but despite much effort, I was not successful in using them to suitably correct the discoloration in the old photos that I had scanned. There is no RGB adjustment tool to tweak the color, only settings to change things like picture warmth, tint, brilliance and saturation. I downloaded and played around with another app called Photomyne and it did a fantastic job of automatically restoring my discolored pictures during the scanning process. In my opinion it's much better suited for scanning old photographs, but only if you're prepared to spend $40/year to subscribe to the full unlimited version. Unless you're scanning a bunch of pictures, that's a steep price to pay.
Takes blurred and crooked scans, my iPhone camera is way better in the same exact setup (lighting, background, etc.) Sorry I wasted $7.99 on this. I can’t understand how any app could could be this bad and not be able to take a decent scan.
Update: I deleted and reinstalled the app as the developer suggested and it seems to be working again. I’ll continue to test it. Hate to give it one star but I just bought this app and every time I try to open it the app crashes making it unusable and a waste of my money.
I love this app and it’s easy to scan my old pictures into digital photos and able to share to friends. The customer service is great too. I ran into a problem importing current photos from my iPhone and the next day I saw their response in my email and guided me to add whatever photos into their app! Highly recommend to upgrade this app too!
I have been impressed with the quality of the scans. I have not yet exported them, but so far so good. I have tried scanning on multiple other apps but the other apps did not have near as high quality scans with the old photos. It is also so nice to have the photos organized into albums on the app to make my life easier.
