Still amazing
I’ve been using this app for over 4 years now at least. It’s still one of the simplest yet diverse apps I have. I cannot recommend enough.

With this app you have complete freedom over which parts of the photos you want to keep. You can remove (or re-add) parts of the images with your fingers, like painting. Change the settings of the brush for fine-tuning. With this technique you can create montages, replace backgrounds or combine pictures any possible way you can imagine. You can also create semi-transparent layers of photos.
Multi-layer support to manipulate multiple layers separately, similar to professional desktop photo editing applications. Color-sensitive brush follows the edges automatically when cutting out shapes.
You can also store the cutouts you made, so they can be reused for different montages.

Doesn’t load often anymore
Unused to live this programme but now when I open it I just get grey or black screens and it then exits. Shame.
Used to love this app
This was my go to app for getting my ideas off my mind into something visual. It was so easy to use and could do so much but now the app doesn't even open up for my to use. So 5 stars when it worked, 1 star now
Doesn’t work!!!
Paid for it, used it for a week now all I get is a non responsive grey screen.

Annoying.
Just updated 7th of August 2020. Annoying blue border around each layer. It means you can no longer screenshot images for better resolution. A totally pointless addition.
Fix it
My most used app for making people’s lives hell, now doesn’t work at all on my iPhone. Can load foreground but can’t edit, first COVID and now this. Where is the manager?

Totally bollixed app with update....
So, in redesigning an app I used on a daily basis on my iPhone 6s Plus the Dev has destroyed what WAS PREVIOUSLY an outstanding app to make it just short of being next to useless. Loved the old design that would allow me to superimpose or overlay png images with a transparent background onto my pictures but that feature now DOES NOT EXIST - superimposed or overlaid png’s with a transparent background load in new “projects” with a black background. The new update has made ABSOLUTELY NO IMPROVEMENTS to the previous version and I would have preferred that the Dev had left the app well alone and even abandoned it in that carnation than to have released a botched update.... The old saying of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” has never been more appropriate for an app than it is with PicMix. Allan 16/06/2020
