Pill Punctual is a dose reminder designed for people with ADD or ADHD using medicine which requires multiple doses per day, like Ritalin, Adderall or Dexedrine.
Thinking of taking your medicine at the right time, multiple times per day is challenging for everyone. Doing so for people with meandering minds like ourselves, is even harder.
Taking your dose late, or accidentally taking one double, is not a very pleasant experience and seriously undermines the relief medication can offer.
Pill Punctual is designed specifically to get on top of this dosing challenge with the least possible effort, and to set free yet another piece of your mind.

I just installed, looking good so far. Text inside the app is noticeably written for the target demographic, I feel validated. Refreshing to see no tracking (esp. on a medical related app, chapeau).
The ability to add a note to each day and dosage would be much appreciated, it can be useful for:
- documenting the effects of dosage/medicine changes,
- keeping track why a dosage was (not/additionally) taken.
Because there is no tracking it would be nice to have a ‘remind me when I get back home’ as a reminder notification snooze option. Then I get reminded right away coming back from doing groceries or getting my kids from school.
Cheers
Superfijn
Hai, dit is een hele fijne en makkelijke app. Zo vergeet ik nooit meer mijn pillen op tijd in te nemen.
Works nice but no different time interval
Great app but unable to set different time interval. So if you take long- and short term medication it becomes a problem 🤔
Just love it
Hi Timo, thanks for adding Apple Watch “took my pill” functionality! Just what I needed to keep my mind in track. May I bother you with another request?
- Can you up the max nr of dosages? Im around 7 or 8 dosages a day. I know: it’s a mess xD
Keep up the good work! This app helps me get through my days!
Love the flexibility but not for all
Really appreciate the fact that this app can make your schedule flexible and doesn’t assume every day is the same. Works wonders for me to remind when to take my meds, but perhaps a suggestion would be to allow scheduled reminders for specific medicines/doses. I take two different meds during the day (3x every 3.5 hours) and a slow release one at the end of the day. The latter takes longer to kick in so setting a dosage of 4 wouldn’t make sense. As the last one needs to be taken 2.5 hours after the other meds.
Any thoughts on adding a cadence/schedule for different medicines? Would love to see it :-)
Fantastic app
This is exactly what I needed for my ADHD meds. Simple, works exactly like I need it to. It’s super easy to set up and edit the intervals. I love that you made it possible to test it for free for a week before purchasing, that is great service and made it easy to test the app out.
The only thing I’d like to point out is that I wanted to thank you personally via the Contact Us feature in the app, but this didn’t work. It redirected me to the iOS settings asking me to add an e-mail account. I’m not sure if this is app- or phone related, but I did want to let you know.
Great app!
Pro: Simple, easy to use. Affordable. Con: would love to be able to leave a short comment about the last dose to log how the med was working. Reminder shows on apple watch: ‘pill punctual’. This is too discreet information everyone can read when looking at your watch. Maybe its a setting I didn't find? Keep up the good work! 😀
Edit: would like to see on screen how much time had passed since I took my pill.
I tells me how long it took before it started to work for example.
Only app that works for me
I've tried many apps before this one and I always struggled with the fact that it was only possible to schedule dosages on fixed times, while I almost never take my meds at the exact same times. Pill Punctual does exactly what I need and not anything more than that, it's simple and straightforward. Perfect for any ADHDer!
Almost
I have two different types of medication, it would be absolutely amazing if I could add both my longer working and my shorter ones in the app. Now I only get the option to add how long one will work, so the app doesn’t really help me at the moment.
Works great!
A great app for taking my meds, but I still keep forgetting them when I don’t have my phone on me (when I’m teaching). Is there a plan to maybe make an Apple Watch app? That would make this app even better.
