Description

Designed for healthcare professionals. Non-healthcare professionals should consult their healthcare providers before use.
pillphill is your portable pill counter that is right on your device! Count tablets and capsules with a snap or in realtime*. Accuracy rates are as high as 99% with our cloud-assisted count technology.
pillphill is great for:
-Small community pharmacies that traditionally count by hand with a pill tray
-Large pharmacies when the dispensing robot and electronic counter are backed up
-Primary care offices, for the occasional time, a large volume of medication needs to be counted
-Inventory and stock audits
Accuracy rates from internal testing:
-99% circular tablets
-98% other tablets
-96% capsules
pillphill works best with less than 100 pills at a time.
If the count is off, simply tap the detections to add or remove pills. When in Live mode, first pause, and then make corrections. We found accounting for corrections, pillphill can still be faster than the traditional pill tray.
Use the sum-up feature (+) to add counts between pill trays and get a running total.
Free for light users:
Every user receives 10 minutes (600 seconds) of cloud-assisted compute time daily. This amount is enough to support the counting of approximately 60 pill trays. More pills at a time use more compute time. The slower but higher accuracy snap mode count uses 6-10 seconds of computing. Live mode* uses between 0-2 seconds per second, depending on the number of pills. After about 10 minutes of usage or 60 pill trays, the application will no longer count pills until the next day.
Professional subscription:
For those finding themselves using the application for more than the allotted compute time, we have the Professional subscription: a monthly, auto-renewing subscription that allows for unlimited usage and no ads!
pillphill is designed to work with or without an internet connection (some features and accuracy may vary).
Requires iOS 13.0 or later
*Live Mode (realtime pill counting) is only available on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad Air (4th generation), iPad mini (5th generation), iPad mini (6th generation), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (2nd generation), iPad Pro (10.5-inch) (2nd generation), iPad Pro (11-inch) (3rd generation), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (3rd generation), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation), iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (5th generation), iPad (8th generation) and iPad (9th generation).

Pillphill Reviews

Get closer

All the app says is “get closer”. Needs work. Wouldn’t trust for any kind of serious count.

Unreliable

Chatterbox86! on

I typically use another pill counting app at work and it works great. Unfortunately, it only gives you so many free counts per day, which left me scrambling for another app. Came across this app and was very hopeful. It is very often in accurate. it’s constantly picking up shadows from the counting tray, it doesn’t seem to understand and it gets confused very easily. This is not an appropriate app for anybody who works with prescription medication’s. This is more like a kid counting how many skittles they have in their Halloween bag
