Ping - network utility

Need to increase ping.count to 1000 at least and add telnet and trace

It will be better if the app shows the IP address of the domain being pinged in case the IP is not reachable and request timed out, the app only shows the IP of the domain when it is only pingable and reachable

This is genius

A simple and easy ping utility with convenient bookmarking. Displays all the relevant information as expected. It really needs a dark mode though. -2 stars for not being updated in 4 years, and not having dark mode.

I am IT engineer and use this app every day. It is very nice. There is only one thing that frustrates me. Setting items are sliders and hard to fine tune. For example I couldn’t manage to set the packet size exactly on 1480. Very little move changed it a lot.

Decent tool however in the middle of network changes I lost maybe an hour trying to figure out connectivity and later saw it was able to ping a device off a computer but app was still showing no connection even after rebooting my tablet.

Save hosts are delete when phone reset… add account to saved all hosts

If you’re pinging to a domain name, and there is no response, the app doesn’t show you the resolved IP address. If you send the results to yourself, the IP address is shown, but that’s a hassle. otherwise seems to be a solid app.
