Worth the price
It’s a fairly cheap, but great mobile game. It has multiple game modes, a ton of unlock-able content and a large variety of different characters with different play styles. I recommend buying the gold and XP booster.
Pirates Outlaws is not free (it costs 9.00), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.

The game has a focus on building your deck ti be as strong as possible, very reminisant of slay the spire. But this game has waaay more variety in the characters and Maps than slay the spire. The possibilities for what kind of Build you wanna play Also fits very Well with the characters. What i mean is that every character has a special playstyle that fits some builds better than others, for example the first character is very good with High damage multihit cards, while the Swordmaster is very good with melee cards in a small deck. The Pirate theme Also fits the game really Well and makes the game feel more adventurous and fun All in all a really good game with a lot variety in the ways you can play the game, with a very Well built Pirate theme that makes the game feel just that bit better
Refreshing and new. You don’t even need to pay to progress like you need to with so many other games. Really recommended
I dont recommend this game, in game gold is earned incredibly slow and every unlockable is Way to expensive. Dont expect any progression without in game purchases.
I’ve beat the game three times over. Wish they’d make more content. Or use this model to take the game to space or medieval times. Anyway, I miss playing it but I can only play the same content so many times.
I’m a huge fan of these style games and this is a very good one. There are a few things that I just don’t get and ruin the game for me. The game works off with targeting by sliding a card up to a certain target. Makes sense right? The only thing you can’t target is when you melee which forces you to attack the closest opponent. That makes sense as well. What doesn’t make sense is when I have a heal card and slide up but accidentally let go to early and it heals an opponent. Why would the game think I want that or allow it. Am I missing another tactic for late game? How can I not target with melee any opponent but can with a heal spell that I definitely don’t want them to have. Same thing with positive effect cards. Why would the game allow me to target an opponent? Developers, if I am wrong please let me know, because after playing about 4 hours total I still don’t see why.
It’s like slay the spire but not a complex, a good easy mode of the game. There’s still an issue where the game freezes whenever you attacked by a wolf in the northern region
The game itself is perfectly fine. It’s a fun time. I have an issue with games that you pay for then have to purchase DLC for later to access all of it. Either charge more up front and give full access (using the reputation to buy power ups) or have it be “free to play” and then charge for DLC to access more.
Just an average game with mico transactions. If you want gold quickly, you could spend $2.99, or you can play the game and get gold slowly. Playing the game gets repetitive and boring if you’re playing just to get gold, because you’re not guaranteed to reach a market to get more HP and you don’t get enough coins after every battle to buy HP. So in other words, since every battle doesn’t give you enough coins to buy HP, it means you fail and have to start all over again losing all your coins. Which is generally what the game is design to if you’re playing to get gold. Which is annoyingly stupid. Sadly you have to save your coins and fail fail fail fail fail and restart numerous of times. But that’s mostly what all games that are free or have a price tag with mico transactions on the store, do. Game wants you to mange your coins and decide when to buy HP. Again, it’s annoyingly dumb.
There’s a lot of content in this game and it certainly is fun, but it gets stale pretty quickly in my opinion. Unlike Slay the Spire, there are too many classes/characters and none of them feel particularly good. Maybe I didn’t play it enough, but I never got to the point where I could consistently get good combos or synergistic cards. The RNG feels off with this game. I don’t think cards in this are random, nor should they be, but unlike STS the available options feel like they’re pigeonholing you into very particular builds rather than giving you the option to be fully creative.
