Unable to cancel
Set my calendar so that I could cancel at the end of the first year. However, the company had already renewed my subscription the next year, 3 days prior to my initial sign up date. Now no one will respond back to me. I WANT OUT. Wasn’t using it enough.

Great tool for the newly plant based eater
I switched to plant based cold turkey from full on omnivore and it was pretty overwhelming trying to come up with creative things to eat and what to keep stocked in the pantry.
This app totally got me on track. The recipes are easy and delicious, and that’s not even my favorite part. Being able to add meals to my schedule for the week and actually add all their ingredients to a shopping cart was the biggest game changer for me. Made it so easy to be sure I had that half a lemon or odd small amount of ginger for the recipes I would cook that week!

Love this App!
You don’t have to be restrictive to a plant based diet to love this app! I began learning about plant based diet about a year ago. I believe it to be a wise choice, however, I personally enjoy eating meat on occasion. This app allows you to try out plant based recipes and you’ll find yourself eating more healthy and loving it. I purchased this subscription in January 2020 and use it regularly. There has not been a single dish I have chosen that I haven’t liked and many that I repeatedly make. The app is VERY user friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Great for plant based newbies
Decided to go plant based after some health issues but was struggling with knowing where to start.
Found the Pistuu Instagram account while browsing the plant based recipes hashtag, and decided to take advantage of the free trial.
2 months later and I’m loving this app. There are so many recipes to choose from and it makes it so easy to plan my meals and shopping lists. I’m not an amazing chef, but the recipes are so yummy and easy, I forget the meals are even plant based!
Changed my life
I used to love cooking. Then because of health issues my family and I have drastically changed our diet to be free of preservatives, dyes and we also got rid of dairy and sugar. We have removed most meat and want to go completely vegan. I’ve been stuck in a rut because I don’t know how to cook unprocessed yummy vegan food that my kids and husband will like. I found this app and it really has changed my life for the better. I am excited to cook and I learn new flavor combos and how to cook a variety of veggies and nearly every meal my husband and I love. My kids like about half of them which is saying a lot because kids are picky. They have seen how much joy this has brought back into my life and so they are willing to try the new dishes and new veggies and are pleasantly surprised by how yummy they are. Even my eight year old has surprised me with trying so many new things. My kids have been used to eating chemical free for quite awhile now and bring their own food to parties etc. so maybe they are more open anyway. I am still extremely impressed with this app and want to hug the chef!! 🙏
A couple of things I’ve noticed. I’ve cooked about forty meals so far. The portion sizing is big which I appreciate because we have leftovers for lunch the next day.
Beware that a few of the recipes when going up to eight servings end up increasing some of the veggie ratios a little too much (for instance peppers). Beware of that and if you cook for more people just use your logic and if it seems like it’s too many peppers/onions/garlic then cut it down a little. Follow your gut.
The other thing, we don’t eat soy so a lot of the recipes we substitute the soy. And also many recipes use canned items like canned beans and sauces and pastes.
We make everything from scratch so I soak my beans overnight (or use the instapot), and I use my own homemade veg broth and homemade diced tomatoes/tomato paste, homemade siracha sauce, homemade soy sauce substitute (without soy).
So this adds time to my meal prep but I have expected this and have done this for years so I will make it in batches and freeze in pre measured portions to use in the recipes.
I cannot express how much I love this app. Thank you for sparking more creativity for me and rekindling my love for cooking and teaching me how to find joy in vegan cooking!!

Only worth it if you eat one meal a day
Don’t pay for this. Only has dinner recipes and only allows you to plan one meal a day. I definitely need to be eating 3 meals plus snacks on a plant based diet. I will be removing my subscriptions immediately.

A great app if you want to eat more plant-based meals. Super functional, with a planner & automatical shopping list, and get this - a hands free mode while cooking! Just waving your hand takes you to the next step. Clean food, clean phone!
