Pitch Analyzer

This is an excellent app. Very useful for checking the amplitude of anything - e.g. The party music going next door at 4 am, traffic noise, the neighbour's barking dog. I use it for musical purposes to check dynamics of a piece. It is also great for analysing pitch and in particular displaying the register of a note such as B4 as well as where the note appears on a stave and piano keyboard. Only feature that would be nice to add would be option to weight the metering on the volume peaks so it is easier to identify the loudest sounds all it measures in real time. Excellent tool. Very handy for musicians.

I got this app to try and figure out exact notes for a piano part in a song. Even when the piano part is isolated and I have silenced every other source of sound, the app was too unreliable in telling me what piano notes were being played.

Just shows random notes before you even make a sound app doesn’t work whatsoever

I love this app! I always come back to it! I use it for testing my range - and my friends’ ranges - seeing how low and how high I can go - and for producing music. If I have a note in my head, I sing it, find the name of the note (cuz I don’t have perfect pitch but I can come up with melodies) and then play it on the virtual piano or synth! Thanks for creating this

You open the app, there's a picture of a piano, the keys are all lighting up, back-and-forth very quickly there's no sound. When you talk the pitch detector goes up and down but there are no instructions on how to use this app. Am I supposed to play the radio and sing along with it? I don't understand. right now I feel like I wasted 2 dollars

This app does not work and I t displays notes being triggered randomly before I sing ! I will demand my money back for this swindle

I though this app would include a basic piano so I could hit a note and try to match it with my voice and see if I was above or below the note. This doesn’t seem hard. Please include that in the next update?

As a non pro musician & instrument owner, this app does work to tell you exactly what pitch or note is sung or played & performs that duty well! I wish there were more options like, recording a longer stream of notes. I can use it as is for many things like tuning guitar & violin, testing the trueness of my singing tho. It's worth 2 bucks!

Purchased this yesterday and IT WILL NOT WORK! Very disappointing!!!!
