Description

Entering the realm in an instant, you find yourself in a pixelated world of swords and magic.

"Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" is a classic Japanese-style RPG pixel art casual idle game. The legendary Goddess of Light created the sacred Emond Continent, but the magical civilization here is quietly eroded by evil thoughts, and the dormant Demon King is about to awaken after millennia. In the chaotic timeline, a bizarre dream unfolds, unlocking your long-sealed memories. You begin to reminisce about everything in the distant past: on the war-torn continent full of scars, there has always been a resolute figure leading people towards the light, and that figure is "You," the executor!

The revival of memories means loosening the seal, and the fate of the floating continent is once again in your hands. Faced with the impending storm, what choices will you make as you stand in the center of the tempest?

[Gameplay]
As an idle game, "Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" emphasizes "easy gameplay + super high welfare + differentiated content." Draw to obtain characters, gain resource benefits through idle play, and obtain equipment and more resources through dungeons. Then, upgrade, advance, and enhance characters for enjoyable development, easily boosting your combat power. Sing your way through, knocking down layers of levels—the main gameplay content of the game.

The game's battles use a semi-turn-based and semi-real-time action bar mechanism, with the combat process fully entrusted to the system for automatic control. No need to study skill casting, reducing the threshold for beginners, while maintaining strategic depth. Various interesting gameplay elements also keep veteran players passionate about the game.

[Game Features]
Vintage pixels, exquisite illustrations
The game adopts a retro pixel art style, unique among today's idle games, providing an exhilarating and nostalgic combat experience. Outside of most pixel scenes, each character has delicate 2D illustrations with an anime style. In story dialogues, illustrations are presented in Live2D form, combining exquisite visuals with pixel art style for greater visual impact and appeal.

Rich gameplay, casual and dedicated
Integrating traditional idle gameplay—battle, collection, and cultivation! Built-in idle experience collection allows you to continue collecting experience materials and equipment even when offline. For players seeking a deeper experience, various rich gameplay systems and fun mini-games in the River of Forgetfulness, Eternal Throne, Endless Sea, and more offer ever-changing enjoyment. In short, all kinds of gameplay are available, play casually without forcing microtransactions, and enjoy freedom and happiness at will.

Passionate battles, pinnacle competition
Boss battles, cross-server battles, various competitive dungeons, and honor rankings—here, you can form your own guild, make friends from all over the world, and leave your mark on the Emond Continent!

Deep storyline, top voice actors
A top-notch voice actor team passionately voices the game characters, perfectly presenting their personalities and the grand storyline. The 300,000-word main plot depicts the rise and fall of the floating continent, complemented by a novel of the same name. From the perspective of a third party, witness the legend of "You" from an unknown person to a world-renowned hero! Strong immersion allows you to enjoy yourself both online and offline!

Standard gatcha game

Zachary (aka lucifer in game) on

Nothing unique or special, the “3650 free draw” is 10 per day for logging in, so you have to log in for an entire year to get them. Additionally, you need to get to certain levels to be able to start getting daily claims, use chat, etc. Menus are completely cluttered with buttons and notifications/things to redeem to waste your time and make you feel like you’re earning a lot. Only took a few minutes to delete this misleading and uninteresting game

More store pages than game pages

Iphone Tex on

The amount of stores, passes, battle passes, privilege passes, monthly passes, weekly passes is insane. So many that your lost even if your ok spending a bit.

Enjoyable

I actually found this game quite enjoyable, decent amount of gems is given freely, good gameplay loop, but the reason for the lower score is I have been unable to access the game , and I missed out on events.

Casino + RNG + AD Spam Game

Vin7ag3 on

Progression in this game is completely determined by random number generation (rng), including normal items (even the most common items), characters, and gear. The story is limited by level caps. The chat is filled with spam, and there are constant pay-to-win advertisements popping from every corner of the ui. This game has one of the worst instances of pushing pay-to-win ads that I have ever witnessed in any game on the app store by a large margin. The gameplay consist of auto battling and daily collecting which was not as advertised, it showcased adventure/tactical strategy elements that’s nowhere to be found in game. It’s literally a reskinned casino with bad odds in some sidequests (slots) and betting in the cross arena and guild battle, solitaire (daily minigame) it is simply too limited with very little gameplay to be recommended with all sorts of predatory practices. The gameplay is very similar to Queen’s Blade limit break just way worse in terms of team building and it’s just not as blatant with it’s gambling in comparison to Pixel Heroes. This game also has bad character balancing so everyone seems to use a similar setup. Usually you can get past imbalances to certain extent with units in the same tier in this case myth, but not in this game. It’s just a bad predatory game overall…stay far away.

Good, but Sexualized

Chase Koger on

The game is pretty well made at least, good story and gameplay. All of the reviews here will tell you the same thing, however essentially all of the female and very few male characters are very sexualized. It’s gross to be honest, and so unnecessary. The first character, seriously? An entire shirt.. with her cleavage specifically exposed and covered with only two little pieces of cloth. What gross character design. Make them more realistic, is what I would suggest.

Bogus ads.

kievlak on

The game is fun. Unfortunately they use other games (Potion Permit) as their ad on face book and insta. Can’t even use their own game in the trailers. Just means they are a quick money grab game and do not care about the future of it.

Wow

CraigNJen on

Stupid events that aren't explained well. Luck of the draw for characters. Pay-to-Win game with bullies that knock you down in PvP. Nasty NASTY hero skins that are NOT kid friendly!!! Very overtly sexualized content. Chat censors that allow you to say male and female body parts but censors other useless things and can easily be bypassed. If you like waiting 24 hours because you're experience / level capped, this is the game for you [insert sarcasm]. You don't get to play the game, it's auto-everything. Want to skip past that annoying auto battle? You have to be VIP 6 or level 120. Yeah, good luck with that. Some of us don't feel like wasting HOURS on ridiculous battles that are already pre-determined and just wasting our time! So much wrong with this game, I don't know how it's rated this high.

Cute game

Loser111 on

Nice to play at lunch just wish it was more like the commercials. But I guess this is better cause I can pick it up and put it down without worrying about dieing
