Entering the realm in an instant, you find yourself in a pixelated world of swords and magic.

"Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" is a classic Japanese-style RPG pixel art casual idle game. The legendary Goddess of Light created the sacred Emond Continent, but the magical civilization here is quietly eroded by evil thoughts, and the dormant Demon King is about to awaken after millennia. In the chaotic timeline, a bizarre dream unfolds, unlocking your long-sealed memories. You begin to reminisce about everything in the distant past: on the war-torn continent full of scars, there has always been a resolute figure leading people towards the light, and that figure is "You," the executor!

The revival of memories means loosening the seal, and the fate of the floating continent is once again in your hands. Faced with the impending storm, what choices will you make as you stand in the center of the tempest?

As an idle game, "Pixel Heroes: Tales of Emond" emphasizes "easy gameplay + super high welfare + differentiated content." Draw to obtain characters, gain resource benefits through idle play, and obtain equipment and more resources through dungeons. Then, upgrade, advance, and enhance characters for enjoyable development, easily boosting your combat power. Super fun, haven’t spend a dime and I fell the game still has plenty of loot/heroes and currency to offer me. Tons of chill mini games. You can play casually or try hard in arena and clash of peaks. I would say there isn’t much real ‘challenge’ unless you take the game more seriously, there’s not really any consequence for losing most fights. (Most.) Very enjoyable game!

Edit: After hitting 10 mil I realize that everyone runs the same OP heroes and is really annoying unless you have them. Devs really need to add more heroes or buff existing ones no one uses. Light heroes are way too good.

So I played this game for over 100 days and had a full team of fully invested meta characters from events. Didn’t miss a single day of log ins or things you could do. First of all the discord just for the most part ignores any questions in the community unless you already know each other. Secondly I asked for a refund for an item that was double charged. Then they auto freeze your account when Apple issues the refund until you repurchase the pack. So then I did so I could have my account back and still haven’t received the refund for the double charged 100 dollar items. Spent hundreds of dollars to not get any explanations as to why or any real support and still locked out of my account and money. Annoyingly frustrated and wish I never wasted the time downloading the game.

This is like most gacha games, made for wallet warriors if you don’t want to be even mid-tier. I don’t mind this as the game play is actually pretty solid. What I have a problem with is their terrible support and generic AI generated responses to problems. I had a glitch cause a second charge to my card that was a one time purchase, double purchasing wasn’t even possible. I didn’t receive a second award for obvious reasons, so they told me to apple refund the second charge. They then locked my account and are forcing me to repurchase the reward to play again, what a scam!

If you want a game where your end goal is to have the same 6-7 characters as everyone else and hope you are able to buy more copies than they are, then go right ahead and waste your time/money. To me, that was very boring. There are no options or alternatives, there is only the steepest power creep out of any game I’ve ever played.

I have never written a review before, but this is a gacha game that actually kept my attention. I’ve been playing for a few weeks and every day there is something fun to do and a new way to progress. So many different areas and systems, world bosses and events, board games, arenas and even an engaging story.  

The highest rankers are of course P2W, but they have new servers and I am the top in my guild and have not spent any money. There are actually guides online for this game as well which is rare for these more obscure mobile games. I highly recommend. The only caveat is that combat is all automatic- you just tap start. 

But there is an in depth team building strategy and it’s very fun to come up against other strong heroes and decide you want to go for them. The summons are very generous, even a few weeks into the game, and you can earn VIP ranks and even the monthly passes without paying anything. Halloween event is also very fun! Honestly 9/10 game.

Really good game tbh. You get tons of items and it’s constant and you have tons of things to do. My problem is you can skip certain battles if your power is high enough but you can’t on the campaign. I see why you can’t but my power level atm is 600k and I’m fighting people at 150k so the battle is still a little drug out but it’s slow and I’d love to be able to skip battles that have bp 100k lower than you. Overall good game but it can be very tedious.

-Main issue I have is if you want to rollback a 9 star hero (for example) you have to spend $20 per 9 star you want to rollback. They need to implement a way to get Trace Crystal Stones like how you can get Trace Ore without having to spend money. Very stupid. 
-Rates are rough you get a 5 star mostly every time but it’s always food heroes, and never light and dark.
