My favourite app on the App Store.

Good for a little bit

This game is fantastic…until you’re completely priced out of expanding any more, so get stuck not being able to do anything. And this happens very quickly. After that I got bored of waiting for enough coins to generate so gave up.

Best game on the app store

I have never left a review but this game and the app makers receive some credit. This is hands down the best game on the app store! Everything works perfectly, it is so enjoyable to play even after a long time. The game progresses in a pleasant way, doesn’t make earning “money” too difficult or take too long but continues to engage you daily.

Best game ever

This game has 0 glitches and is so fun and addicting pls add more updates

Great, but so slow

Wuzzyzew on

I really like this game, but you have to check in on it way more regularly than other idles that I enjoy. If you want to progress it’s at LEAST once an hour, and for me that just forms an unhealthy relationship with the game that warrants criticism. Sure, you can update buildings - but still only by minutes, you’d have to spend a fortune to get more breathing room between check-ins.

Fun and immersive game and I have been playing it a lot but I am very disappointed as received no Utopium for my real-money in-app purchases. I have tried to message dev team through the app but no reply.

I tried to buy utopium and i tried two packs it said the purchase was successful but I haven't received any utopium

No stars. Don’t buy unless you like paying for endless top ups.

I played this years ago and it was great. Now they want you to buy coins/utopium to progress the game. Also so many more animals have appeared it is awasteoftime trying to splice the thousands of variations toget Specual ones. Why did the devs just charge for a complete copy of the game without the soul destroying challenge of waiting days/weeks of just tapping for no gain? Don’t buy it unless you like buying endless top ups

Fun to start but...

Been playing for about 2 week now, and at the start it was fun, i was progressing fast and the game looked like it had a lot of potential. However now i literally cannot progress any further without either waiting MONTHS, being on the game 24/7 just sitting there, or spending a shedload of money, none of which i would like to do. Great game idea but got very greedy.

exploitive decision to bait people into paying for upgrades right from the start

Osjnzfric on

As already said in various reviews; The game is fun for the first week or two but eventually gets to the point of being basically unplayable and very grinding for little reward. The core gameplay is to splice two professions together to create a new one, most of which come with buildings associated with them. Placing these buildings requires available land and this is where the problem is; You use coins to expand 10 extra land. The cost of the expansions get really high, really fast, and completely halt playing until you earn enough coins to expand. But once you do expand you’ll have to waste at least half of your new space just to house the new characters you could create. Leaving you to stop and grind again. This hike in expansion cost comes in far too early into playing and gets stupidly expensive every upgrade after. And with the added thing of the buildings that generate coins only doing so for a few minutes until you need to tap them back into earning, meaning you’d need to keep the game open to really make anything. Which is obviously not fun or practical. It’s either just a really bad game mechanic or more likely a simple, exploitive decision to bait people into paying for upgrades right from the start. Which is a shame, since it could have been fun.
