PIXPRO Remote Viewer

Doesn’t connect in the app. Just repetitively takes you back to the permissions screen even though everything is enabled. The wifi feature is a rip off.

I’ve redownloaded the app a few times now and same thing over and over. Not showing the option to connect a device(camera) to it. Saying it has no access but every time it takes me to setting it has access to it all. Just really disappointed.

-in short if the camera doesn’t connect just turn on airplane mode before connecting to wifi- basically I love this camera a lot it’s amazing and I didn’t know this feature existed but my camera for some reason has stopped working through wired connection (idk it just says connection failed when I plug it in?) but anyways so I went to see what was wrong and I discovered the app. I downloaded the app and did the wifi thing and everything but the app and the camera would not connect although it did connect to my phone. In the end I came to look at the reviews to see what happened and I saw someone say put your phone in airplane mode then connect to the wifi. After I did that it worked like a dream and it is going to come in really handy if I can figure out how to charge it.

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. The UI is unclear and the single function I want to use most (sync with iPhoto) doesn’t seem to exist. I don’t really want to download one photo at a time.

I’m so disappointed. The app stays running for a good 30 seconds before it crashes. I’m lucky to download even 2 pics, forget videos! And sometimes the date changes and my pics get lost! I’ve read reviews from several years ago complaining of the app crashing. WHY HASN’T THIS BEEN ADDRESSED!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommend not to download this app, it just deleted all photos.

I wish I read the reviews before I kept this gift, I would’ve returned it and got another camera. Was really excited about getting into photography, but the app won’t connect to my camera at all. I tried using some of the tricks and troubleshooting tips people left in the reviews but nothing has worked so far.

I bought this specifically for the Wi-Fi transfer. That way I would have to carry around less equipment. I could never get it to work. I wanted to get this instead of the cannon that I was trying to replace but their Wi-Fi app works so I returned the camera. I’m sure something that’s gonna be regularly happening for Kodak because you guys are lame and your software production. Your cameras are pretty good it’s just that when you say that you can use Wi-Fi, it doesn’t translate over to iPhones.I guess I’ll have to go back to Cannon Instead

Put your phone into airplane mode before connecting to the Wi-Fi. That’s it. That’s the fix. Once you get it working the camera view and control works pretty well. I tried a few times in different devices trying to set this up and not getting any hits for fixes online. I have a Sony camera with Wi-Fi connect that works well without fiddling, but this one is a bit less intuitive.
