How do we do this?
Every user is assigned a unique Integrity Score (the base score is determined by your sign-up method). True, factual and helpful posts boost this score. You can earn badges, and higher visibility, with a high score. At the same time, untrue or hateful posts lower your score, and your visibility. If your score goes too low, you lose posting privileges.
If you demonstrate proficiency in a subject through your posts, you stand to earn badges, which identify you as a topic expert or a star user.
We have put moderation front and centre to ensure the platform is abuse-free. Pixstory's moderation approach takes inputs from advanced AI, a carefully selected team of independent, reputable experts, and Pixstorians themselves. Navigating the app is super easy with intuitive filters. You can easily toggle between interests, friends, followers, the latest updates, and what’s trending. You can also connect with other like-minded members using the in-app chat feature.
You can also look up people with similar interests and find fellow Pixstorians in your vicinity by using the “Nearby” tab.
