5 star for the airlock

Doesn’t work; will not pair with network. Briefly connected and counted 13 bubbles and no connection after that in spite of vigorous fermentation. Impossible to re set-up with message that network could not communicate with device.
I’ve been using this for several months and it’s not yet “learning” much despite that mode being set. so what do I get? optimal is good data, but since that isn’t there yet, at least a nice graph as I manually update the SG would be nice. so if you could improve things such that when I take a manual reading (which it turns out is still very necessary/making this device a bit pointless in my experience thus far) the least that you could do is smooth out that fermentation line on the graph with the new data instead of having this hard jump when I update what the device/app thinks is going on vs. reality
I just got the Plaato for my kegerator, and am planning to add a second one. I really like how easy it is to pair everything, and setup was super simple. My big disappointment is with the app. I’m planning to mount an iPad with that is paired to my kegerator on the wall, so friends and visitors can see what’s on tap. However the current app is not responsive to the tablet screen, and will not rotate horizontally. Super disappointing!!
Not even a monitoring gravity level
First if this is a really nice tool for monitoring the levels in my keg. The notifications work and are not overloading me with notifications. Where it could be better... the temp function has issues and yes the company has a work around to change the settings, but it does not work well in my setup. I can never get it to an accurate reading. It to be honest, I did not buy this to keep up with my temp. So this dose not impact my review in any way. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is that I really don’t care how many gallons I have left in my keg. Well, not really. If they could make that field selectable, pints would be better in my opinion. 99% of the time I pour into a pint glass, and after a few I don’t want to have to worry with math! What would I rather see? You have 3 gallons remaining? No, tell me instead in have 24 pints remaining. That is more helpful to me. Please give us the option here to select how we view beer remaining!
First, using this with the PLAATO Keg (which is pretty great), not the airlock. Pairing is easy enough if you’ve ever use any other IoT/connected device. App design is sleek and mostly intuitive and easy to navigate. I agree with the reviewer TJ$$ before that it would be nice to have some better tracking of averages, month over month use, etc. The graph now (of temp, volume, and pours) over time is useful, but doesn’t list days, or give ability to see usage/month etc. I’m sure it’s something that can be added at some point. Only real issue I’m having now is the notifications stopped coming through my phone. I’ve double checked iPhone notification settings, and to be sure, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still not getting the notifications. Either way, solid app to go with cool keg monitoring. I know it’s a small firm so I’m excited to see them grow and continue to add features and fix bugs. Overall, it’s a great start, keep pushing forward PLAATO team.
I give this app 4 stars bc it’s a great design but still has some bugs to work out with PLAATO keg. Mine keeps reverting back to metric units and changes my max keg weight - so I have to constantly redo my settings. I hope that in future release the notifications will also be in “US Standard” when set up that way. I’d also like to see a better way to see how much beer is poured (total) based on day, week, month, etc. And would be awesome to see it tracked over time, comparing month to month - similar to exercise apps. Hey, drinking beer is one form of exercise.
It’s so irritating and frustrating that this company hasn’t updated this tool! My wife got this for me- through Kickstarter-it doesn’t work!
