Planet Rock

All these years on and the app still randomly crashes when it loses signal briefly or even when the signal is fine. Skipping tracks doesn’t work if you lose connection, it just goes back to playing the track you skipped. Random logouts, random blank tracks, random half-speed playback, I would use the new app but you can’t even skip tracks on that! What are we paying for?

This is the one and only radio station I need and this is the only app I want. No Rayo for me, I want rock. Cheers and keep on rocking.

I love Planet Rock and paying to lose the adverts is well worth it in my opinion. However, the app loses connection regularly in the car and then “forgets” I have a premium subscription and I get adds - difficult to fix while driving. I have reported this, as losing connection is understandable but surely it’s not difficult for the app to check itself against the premium subscription. Occasionally you get interstitial adverts on start up - very irritating if you pay for premium. Rayo app is constantly pushed but doesn’t have Chromecast support and I’m not interested in the other network radio stations.

I used to enjoy listening to planet rock but the tunes being played now days just ain’t rock and it’s more depressing music bring back true rock

This is the greatest app for fans of Planet Rock, easy to navigate and no starting from great Rock music. There seems to be a push to get us to move to Rayo instead, it’s a confusing 1 star app everyone hates, avoid it and rock on here :)

Recently stopped loading on Apple CarPlay

I thought that my musical preferences were too far out for MOR England. Imagine my delight when, whilst investigating Planet Rock’s associated channels, I stumbled upon Bloodstock Radio!!! Exactly the music I love, which picks us up from earthly academia and sets the Dopamine to make us ready for “carpe diem” B Bring it onnnnnnn………… Dr Peter

I have been listening via this app for the last few years and it is by far the worst of all the apps I use. It is unreliable, cuts out, buffers and is intermittent on apple play in the car. Please just do what the BBC does, I have no problems with their app.
