Planets of the Solar System!

My 3 year old loves this app. He’s been interested and learning about the solar system at home so nice to have another easy-to-use resource. We use some Montessori education methods at home and my son went to a Montessori childcare for two years so he easily understood what to do with the App as it follows the Montessori approach (matching cards etc). My partner was impressed by the detailed solar system facts … which gives our son more to learn/ longer-term use of this app. I read another users one-star review, but that didn’t discourage me from purchasing as I’ve been satisfied & my son enjoys other Montessori apps by this developer. Potentially if children are used to more high-stimulation cartoon/loud music apps and games then this one may not seem as exciting to them… and if they are not used to the Montessori approach to learning it may not be their thing either. 4 stars (instead of 5) because there is a glitch with the card matching activity - but I’ve reported it to the developer, so hopefully they will resolve it soon. The app is still usable.

This game wasn’t even a game. It’s so boring I’m not surprised my daughter hates it. It’s like the most boring space book placed into an app..

The stars are not identified by name when click in an auditory way. The arrangement of the stars by size does not generate correct or wrong response. The information is great but you have to actively seek it. Only one of the 4 tabs is worth it's value.

Good app! My 3 year old loves it. A few suggestions: - metric option (kilometres instead of miles). - planet card matching - some sort of audible acknowledgement of correct answer and a specific place to drag the cards to. - planet sizes - similar to above, some sort of acknowledgement of correct order and also audibly naming the planets when you touch them.

Not very interactive or that informative. Not very nice looking either. Very disappointed.

This app won't open at all. I purchased a pack and one of the apps needs a newer operating system and this one won't open at all. Really disappointed as my kids really want to use this one.

Great intro to learning about the solar system. Easy to navigate and learn about the planets in the solar system with a fun matching activity to practice the names/pictures.

It’s a challenge to try to teach younger children about the solar system. The audio voice in this app is perfect to teach the concepts. Thx!

While I love the idea of this app and was planning to use it in my 4 year olds preschool, the sound does not work which eliminates much of the usefulness of this app.

Please avoid. Bought this for our 4 yr old and it was a complete waste of money.
