Deceptive pricing tactics
Like others I downloaded it expecting it to be free. It then required a subscription to actually use. I decided to pay for the subscription so I could identify some plants in my yard. I’m pretty certain that the subscription I agreed to is not the one I’ve been being charged for. When I went to cancel there were reasonably priced options, not the $10 a week version.
Great concept, needs a little work
The concept of this app is great and I was super excited to use it and it did me identify several plants, but the accuracy can be hit or miss. Also, sometimes the care tips are a bit too general. Makes me feel like I still need to go outside the app to do more research.
Beware of subscription
Deceptive practices with subscription. Cannot unsubscribe from within the app (even though it says you can manage in settings). They’re trying to hook you on a free trial that is tough to cancel. Do not download.
Only general information…
Information given for plants are general info obtainable by google. At 9.99 a week, is just ridiculous. Thanks but no thanks.
Never worked
Kept asking me to pay for an app every time I try to use it. When I would ex out and take the picture of my flower, I never saw saw any results.
Plant beginner
I downloaded Plant ID because I just got my first plant and want to make sure I take great care of it. I like the app, it runs smoothly and has lots of great functions like reminders, chat support, and identification. The camera function to identify and check light levels has given me some trouble, as well as some articles not loading well. Those two things could be improved but overall a very useful app!
Big Plant Lover
Was skeptical at first, but this app is pretty accurate with plant identification. The chat feature is great too. Had a question about indoor plants and got a quick, helpful response.
Very educational app
This app is both educational and user-friendly. I appreciate the intuitive layout and the camera feature, which not only helps identify plants but also provides detailed information about different plant types.
