DO NOT GET THIS! I’m totally unable to delete this and stop billing! There is no Home Screen to delete app.
App is not free. No features are accessible without either trial or payment. Developers could avoid bad reviews if they put it behind a paywall instead of allowing people to waste their data downloading a app with no uses.
I’ve got a bunch of plants that I always forget to water, so I needed something to help me out. Tried Plantyx, and it turned out to be more than just a reminder tool. The app’s pretty chill to use. It’s got a massive plant library, and while it doesn’t always nail the exact plant every time, it gives you a few possible options, which is super handy. What’s also cool is it tells you how to heal your plant when it’s not doing so hot. There’s a ton of useful info in there, and even though it’s got a few tabs, it’s easy to navigate. I’m having way more fun with my gardening now since I’ve got all my plants under control and I’m learning a lot about them.Definitely worth a try if you’re into plants, but there’s some room for the app to get even better.
Moved into a new place and the previous owner left a bunch of plants. I had no clue what they were or how to take care of them, so I tried out Plantyx. The app's pretty easy to use. Scanned my first plant in under a minute with the 3-day free trial. I like that it doesn't just guess the plant; it gives you a few options to choose from, which is nice for accuracy. That said, it'd be great if the app could improve the accuracy of its plant recognition. Sometimes it still feels like a guessing game. With all the plants in my apartment, I end up using Plantyx almost every day. If you’re into plants, it’s worth checking out, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
I unfortunately bought the app instead of trying first. All I want is my money back. Thank you.
I am not sure who they are paying for their 5 star reviews. There is no way to get a hold of customer service other than to email them. They do not return emails. There is no real diagnosis for anything for new plant owners. Also does not have plant variants and also cannot identify 85% of my plants that I have. Don’t waste your time and money. ** update to say they responded to my review giving me the email address that I emailed three times with no response to!*** don’t buy this app or fall for their “free trial” as it doesn’t exist!!
When I realized the cost was WEEKLY ( my bad for not checking carefully) I cancelled. I have confirmation of my cancellation but they continue to charge me. Good luck trying to call customer service as there is none! Total Rip Off!
This app is useless if you are trying to diagnose issues with your plants. Regardless of what plant I tried to diagnose, it gives me the exact same answer. And the answers are so vague. “You could be over watering or under watering” is no help at all.
It claims to be a free app, but after downloading, stops you to make you choose either a 3 day “free trial” and $9 a week after, a $60 lifetime payment, or you can’t use the app. It should not say free if it’s a “free” download, because then it charges you $9 in 2 days. $36 a month? Ha. No thanks.
