Planter: Garden Planner

I’ve had this app for a few years now, and love seeing the upgrades. The creator actually uses the feedback from users and improves the app all the time.

I planned my whole garden using this app; so much useful information in one space. The love that it gives me the option to favourite and hide plants as well as add more information as needed. The companion plants feature is also super helpful.

I have just begun using the free version. The plot I was able to make with the free version (or without beta) was smaller than my current garden plot. All of that aside, it allows you to choose a plant type, then you can even try and find your specific variation. Not only that, but if your variation is not available you can still create a new record to use. Finally, and specifically what I was searching for, it allows you to map out your growing space fairly intuitively, while showing the beneficial, detrimental, or neutral relationship between the plants.

It’s been so great to be able to grid plan my garden as well as know which plants are companions or not. Thanks for making an awesome app! One suggestion would be that if I choose a veggie to have an suggestion option for what to plant next to it instead of just winging it to see if they work or not.

I have 2 little gardens - one is 4x4 and one is 8x4. I love the app because it recommends which plants grow well together, which one don’t, has a reference library for the plants, allows you customize the type of vegetable and I really enjoy the notes feature. I plan on planting a few times this year and having the planting dates on my phone is very convenient. Well thought out and designed. And they ask for recommendations to improve the app further. Just great for the price

It’s helpful you can use one garden for free but if you want more you either buy or take notes and erase and start over. Too bad there wasn’t more free content. Info on plants is great and on free content.
