I don’t normally buy apps or rate but given just how great this app is for supporting the self-hosting community and integrating with Jellyfin where native audiobook support is really lacking I have to say well done! This app fits exactly what I need and I’ve had 0 issues with it
Great Free App
I just started using it and so far so good. No annoying ads. I will consider support via pro upgrade if it continues to work so well. Back to testing. I am using it with Audiobookshelf server.
Amazing App, Works Great!
Very easy to setup, free version works great but there’s a one time upgrade that’s totally worth it. Thanks to the devs for making this app!
Free to test. Don’t need to buy but I did
I really appreciate developers who allow trying out their app for free and offering some nice (but not required). Signed for yearly! Great app experience so far. Does exactly what I want
Great, but
Give settings to:
1. Auto download when start playing book
2. Auto delete when finished book
3. Option to add multiple servers
Really Good, but still WIP
The app does almost everything I need for book management, it struggles to sync with metadata updates from jellyfin, and it does not play OGG Vorbis files, other than that it is a very nice iOS client and I will continue using it
Always improving
It’s clear the developer of this app cares. They’ve added features that have been requested and surprised me with sensible updates and included the BEST watch integration for audiobook listening that’s available right now.
Small bugs, good app
It has some bugs with apple car play, but the overall experience has been good.
I haven’t found any better jellyfin app out there
A great way to access audiobook shelf!
I’m really impressed with plappa and how it connects easily to my audio bookshelf server. The controls are great and the CarPlay integration is wonderful. I’m a “download all” kinda user, so for me it’s the only thing missing. I was previously using prologue with plex, and this app feels familiar and inline with that previous experience
Incredible
Fantastic application well designed and much needed in the space. I love the day embraced open source projects as the audio backend. Thank you for creating this lovely app.
