Good app. Room for improvement in the video player

Pluralsight is my favorite platform to study programming/IT topics. This app is good and does the job well. Since playing videos is a essential part of the core experience, we need a lot more of care here. I would love the ability to customize it further. Please refine the behavior of the video player overlay (the play/pause control) It’s annoying to have to click every time to hide them, make them disappear faster, or make them customizable.

Awesome contents

Pluralsight is my go-to platform for learning anything new technology-wise. The current version (3.20.4339) suffers from two inconveniencies, though (used on iPad Pro): - The play controls remain on the screen a lot and require one to click them out. They for example come on screen on their own at the beginning of a new session. - Using MW60 Bluetooth earphones, ”play” button works (for starting the play) but the same button doesn’t pause, as it should. This is weird. Having these two inconveniencies fixed would make my experience 5 stars.

Crashes when opening app

I love Pluralsight, but I cannot open the app at all. Recent iOS updates might have broken this or maybe app’s own source code is not handling it but as for now I have no working app and have to use the website instead. Please fix the issue asap.

Doesn’t work on mobile data...

...so pretty useless app. They don’t even show the content descriptions (course infos or such) in there without WiFi. Yet they have audacity to promote this app on their mobile site. Absolutely ridiculous!

Lates version keeps on crashing

Crashes on start. Totally broken.

Does not connect

Extremely slow when browsing or searching, fails to connect when trying to play a video.

could improve

pluralsight is a great way to learn, however since I decided to work only with wifi as a way to connect to internet to my iPad and close my mobile connection the application does not recognize I am on the internet and keep sending error as I am not connected, even though I am connected and can check the internet, and download files. Really weird. I enjoy so much the iPad application and now I am not able to use it anymore.

This a a loading spinner application

Videos wont load. All you see is loading spinner.

Very mediocre

You can watch the videos using the app, two stars for that. The app is just a bear minimum of what you could expect it to be. But at the moment I would recommend just using the website from your mobile browser.
