Our training program will meet you at your exact week of pregnancy – including modifications and considerations – with both an in-gym and at-home option. The exciting news is, we have even more to offer than just training; our team of experts assembled a video curriculum that answers your biggest pregnancy questions. You’ll feel confident in every step of your prenatal training journey with the topics we cover:

1. When to stop exercise
2. Postural changes and considerations
3. Anatomy of the female pelvis and pelvic floor
4. Pelvic girdle pain, pubic symphysis or SI joint discomfort considerations
5. Diastasis Recti and coning of the Linea Alba
6. Diaphragmatic breathing and connection breath to pelvic floor
7. General strength training modification, mobility, and cardio
Our support doesn’t stop once your baby arrives; Plus+1’s postpartum training considers that every birth experience is different and each body has endured a lot of changes that require healing. We assist in easing you back into strength training by reintroducing movement with a four-phase plan (and plenty of education to accompany it):
1. Gentle breathing and light movement
2. Gentle stretching and movement
3. Low intensity and mat-based strengthening
4. Reintroduce upright movement and a slow progression into strength training
No matter what phase you’re in, you’ll have education from experts in the fitness, strength and condition, and medical fields at your fingertips. You’ll be equipped to understand what’s safe and comfortable for you and baby! Our team of experts – including a Certified Pre-/Postnatal Coach + Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, an OBGYN, and a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy team – have your back every step of this exciting journey.

Awesome program

I’m currently 9 weeks PP and I have been following this program since the start of my pregnancy and it has been so great! Not only do I feel strong physically but it has been helping me feel strong mentally as well. I had terrible PPD after my previous pregnancy and following this program has helped my mood tremendously. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Love App but would love a “Pregnancy Loss”section

The app itself has been great for me. I followed along with a good bit of the workouts until the pregnancy exhaustion and nausea got really bad. We lost our pregnancy at 13 weeks and while I’m not immediately trying to get back in the gym, it’s always been a good coping mechanism for me. Moving to the “postpartum” section feelings wrong because I’m not. Having a section that’s like “Pregnancy loss” that doesn’t really focus on a baby but just slow movement until you are ready to either change to SBTD or the trying to conceive section would be helpful as miscarriage isn’t that uncommon. It would be nice to hold 4-6 weeks of space for that. For right now I’m canceling my subscription and doing just that until I’m ready. The app is great though. The exercises are fantastic and everything is well explained.

Too expensive for what it is

$20/month for 4 gym workouts and 4 at home workouts is insane. I thought maybe if I did all of the workouts and put in my numbers that it would give more workout options. Nope. I’m really disappointed that this was all there was to this app.

Close to Being a Great App - Could Use More Tech Troubleshooting and Program Refinement

I followed the app program for about eight weeks. Some things I liked: - good warm ups, about ten minutes with an emphasis on the connection breath - good content on the resources page - I liked the two lower body days and two upper body day focus - the workout content was there in terms of how to do the exercise and the description of it and the exercises were conducive to things needed in pregnancy. - modifications for body weight and for a growing belly Some things that could be improved: - I felt like the week to week changes were random. There was no explanation on how things would change for one week or the next, such as a mesocycle format with a rest week. - Some things were glitchy in the app. - couldn’t move days around. It would have been switch to switch Day 3 and make that my Day 2, etc. - wish you could switch just one day to body weight rather than the whole week for days when you don’t have access to a gym. Overall, I’m at a point where I have some other issues, and I need to tailor my workouts differently to fit some of my existing injuries. I still prefer three full body workouts 3 days a week instead. I might consider renewing my membership again as there’s definitely some value there, but for now it’s not a good fit for me.

Constant bug issues

Would be a great app if it worked, constant bug issues. I never know when the app will actually open and let me look at the work outs. Not reliable at all.

Great app!

Amazing app but honestly even better customer service! Helped me solve a problem so fast and they were so kind! :)

Bummer

Wanted to like it. Glitchy and uninteresting. I don’t have time to do a 45min warm up before having to set up vastly and drastically different movements for one set of 15reps. I have had to go “off script” many times. Especially at the cost I feel like I wasted a lot of time and money. Bummer

The best program to get your core back!

I’ve been following the postpartum course now (9 weeks PP with my 2nd), and I feel so much stronger and more stable at this point postpartum than I did with my first - truly a world of difference. And this was even with seeing and working with a pelvic floor PT after my first. I’m itching to start doing more, but the is program is amazing at making sure you don’t push yourself too soon and stay disciplined to rebuilding. I know I’ll thank myself in the long run!

Love this app!

The app itself is amazing. Love the way each workout week is broke down by trimester and the postpartum workouts are great as well. My favorite party is how many options there are for workout substitutes my only complaint would be that there seem to be a lot of bugs with different things within the app and sometimes I couldn’t even open the app without turning my phone off and back on again or completely redownloading the app. But other than those technical issues from time to time, I highly recommend this app to any and every pregnant/postpartum mama!!

Awesome app

I’m so happy to find this app. It’s difficult to figure out how to get back into your workout routine postpartum without injury. I really enjoy working out with this app. The only thing that I wish to see in the next version is target muscles for each exercise !
