I use this app weekly, it's so handy if you want to learn about wine and different grape varieties. Very user friendly and ideal for the beginner or experienced wine lover.

I have been in the wine industry for 5 years in Australia although needed to expand my global wine knowledge and learn more for WSETqualifications, this app has it all, regions, grape varieties, tasting notes and food and wine matching all in an easy to follow format. I am loving this app!
Very Handy
I downloaded this as I was looking for a good app to help me learn more about wine for my job and for myself too. I have to say it is really superb. It's very easy to navigate and although there are one or two things I'd change, it's the best wine app I've seen. I'm a Scot living in Australia and I'm asked everyday to recommend wines to go with food etc, this has a great section on that! I made one wee suggestion to the makers of the app and they got back to me very quickly and were helpful, you can't ask more than that!
A good one
This is a very good wine app and the first I've seen that actually makes sense of wine. I've found it really useful and wouldn't be without it. If you're into wine its one to have.
Great on food pairing
Lovely wine app packed with high quality content and lots of Aussie references on grape varieties. Well thought out and great on food and wine pairing. Caters for all levels of knowledge - something for everyone here.
Excellent
If wine is important to you this is a must have app. Huge improvement in regional coverage, including Oz. Easy to use and looks great, especially on iPad.
Limited information on a global level
I purchased the app just recently. Being Australian the first thing I was hoping for was local information. While references are made to Australian wines and regions throughout the txt, in the country/region guide, Australia and New Zealand are not listed as are others. While the core of the apps information is what is says it is, I am great full and pleased, it is very good, however needs a lot of work to globalise the app. Well done keep working. Looking forward to content up dates ongoing.

Why wasn't Pocket Wine around when I was younger and trying to impress? Just the thing you need on that first date - a quick glance at your iPhone, click on the food you want to order and hey presto! Up comes the appropriate wine with just enough information attached on grape variety etc to impress your date! What a find!
