Pockets by ICICI Bank - The most comprehensive mobile wallet to (1) Pay Anyone, (2) Shop Anywhere and (3) Bank with ease for any bank's customer. Pockets is the first app in India to offer UPI Payments, Bharat QR code payments. With Pockets wallet, you instantly get a free virtual VISA card that can be used for shopping at all online websites/apps. You can even request for a physical card that can be used at stores. Moreover, you can recharge your prepaid mobile or DTH connection and pay your utility bills from within the app. You can send money securely to bank accounts, your contacts or virtual payment addresses using Unified Payment Interface (UPI). That's not all, you can upgrade to a Pockets Savings Account right from the app to get a debit card and create deposits.

New: Introducing Bharat QR code standard supporting Visa, MasterCard and Rupay cards.

New: Introducing payments through UPI. You can now transact (send and collect money) using UPI and manage your Virtual Payment Address or VPA from Pockets. You can also use UPI to pay merchants.
UPI ID is a unique ID that is used to make UPI payments in place of bank account details.
UPI PIN is similar to your Debit Card PIN number, a 4 or 6 digit number which needs to be set by you while creating your UPI ID. For all your UPI transaction UPI PIN is necessary. Please don’t share your PIN.

(a) VISA Card – The Pockets pre-paid wallet is a VISA card, which can be used to shop online on websites such as Amazon. You can even get a physical card for payments at shops! Use it for small value payments without disclosing your debit/credit card details.

(b) Scan & pay – Make secure cashless payments by scanning UPI QR, Bharat QR and mVISA QR codes without the need to swipe a card.

2. Pay Anyone

(a) Transfer funds - Transfer funds instantly and securely to bank accounts and your contacts (via UPI, mobile number, email, WhatsApp). You can also request money from other Pockets wallet users.

New: Pay and collect money from anyone instantly using Unified Payment Interface (UPI). UPI allows secure money transfer without disclosing bank account details.

(b) Prepaid Mobile Recharge - Recharge your Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Reliance, Tata, Aircel, BSNL, MTS & MTNL connections.

(c) Bill Payment - Pay utility bills such as Reliance Energy, BSES, NDPL, BEST, MSEB, Torent, Mahanagar Gas, Indraprastha Gas, Gujarat Gas.

(d) Postpaid Mobile & Land Line Bill Payment - Pay Postpaid bills for Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Reliance, Aircel, MTNL.

(e) DTH connection recharge - Recharge your Tata Sky, Dish TV, Airtel, Videocon, Sun.

App Crashes as soon as you open it

The app crashes as soon as you open it. Please fix it. Uninstalling the app as it proved useless on iOS 16.

Bill pay does not work

App is not thoroughly tested. The app crashes when I want to pay post paid bill. Please update the app before launching on App Store. It crashed on IPhone X

Can't enter date of birth during signup

The app doesn't load date options when I try to sign up after logging in using my existing ICICI username and pwd. The form won't proceed without a DOB either! Please train the monkeys who test your app to pay more attention to basic details such as this. Ugh.

DOB null

During Registrarion the date of birth set as null and I'm not able to register savings bank account. I saw that lot other people faced the same issue back in April and the issue is still open

Worst app ever

Worst app ever, lots of issues.

Not able to register

I'm an existing icici bank customer, during registration to this app I entered my internet banking username And password for my savings account. After login it ask for date of birth, no matter you select the date of birth but it is always set as null, due to this I was not able to proceed with the registration.

Lot of defects

First issue - while login if I enter wrong password .. Message is displaying as time out ... No proper message ... 2 nd issue- after logged in if I select my DOB it is saving as null not able to proceed further ... Totally stuck ... Poor app ! Still the issue has not been fixed I m not able to proceed with that ... It's been more than a month I have given this input ... Still no luck May be issue only in iPhone 6

Good app

Awsm app guys and very good dashboard design.. But Guys think for security of app.
