Description
PocketText is a simple text editor with indexes.
You can quickly view, edit and search plain text documents.
By combining colors,fonts and text size, you can create a memo pad that suits you.
Main functions
Tab
- You can create, delete and rearrange tabs
- Tabs can be easily switched by swiping left or right
- Select a tab color from a rich color palette or create a custom color with the HSB slider
Style
- Text color, background color, font, text size can be adjusted to your liking
- Text color and background color can be selected from preset themes, or create your own custom theme
- Font can be selected from the font list installed in iOS
Edit
- In the memo edit screen, the number of characters is displayed as a count
Display
- You can change the order of the memo list with the selected key
- You can set the number of lines to display in the list
Search
- On the text search screen, you can narrow down the search for the memo containing the corresponding text and highlight the text.

I’ve been looking for something like this for years! It’s perfect for organizing my church activities.
Nice but isolated
Nice options, nice UI. But no import or export, hence not so useful for me.
It's a text editor with no print function
This is, indeed, a text editor. It even include a worthless theme selector. However, I can discover no way to print anything, which, for my purposes, makes the entire app practically worthless. In order to get a hard copy, one has to take a screen shot, edit it and then print that.
A great app, a few needs remain
Congrats on the 2.0 update. Appreciate the ability to move sections between tabs. A few major pieces of functionality are still needed: - iCloud sync between devices - Ability to manually reorder (drag/drop within list) - Share Extension, to send notes into the app (and into a tab)
It seems so simple.
Let me think about it... Put an undo button in it and charge us another buck. What am I thinking, the option for text to always be saved would be nice, too.

Love the simplicity of this app!!! I think it would be awesome if it could sync across devices! And if the theme would color the entire page not just the folder part. Keep working on it developers please don’t abandon it. With Everything ring is so complex and expensive this is just what I needed! Thank you!
Great App but wish there were options
This is super cute and very functional. It would be helpful if this app had the ability to creating headings with in the tabs so that you create bold and underlined text. Bullets that you can check off is something that would come in handy too. I love the options. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
