Start each day with a Podcast on Podcast Alarm.
When the alarm blares you just want to make it stop, hit snooze as fast as possible. What if you actually enjoyed the sound of your alarm clock? What if you actually learnt something from it and started the day with an extra bit of motivation?!
We recommend starting each day with a podcast. With Podcast Alarm you can select whatever kind of podcast you’re into as your morning alarm. We've got everything from business to fitness, and crime thrillers to cooking. Choose from 1000's of podcasts, including of course all the most popular podcasts, The Daily, TED Talks, and Serial for example.
Instead of hitting snooze on your alarm, dozing off again and feeling worse, you can actually listen to something interesting. You can set up multiple alarms for anytime of the day - the drive home, the gym, winding down at night. Plus you can play immediately without setting an alarm like a regular podcast player.

Podcast Alarm FAQ
Is Podcast Alarm free?
Podcast Alarm is not free (it costs 4.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Podcast Alarm legit?
⚠️ The Podcast Alarm app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The only reliable podcast alarm but needs A LOT of improvement!
Alarm will go off reliably every time but everything else about the app needs major improvement. The flaws in the app make it tedious to use and rather redundant as a podcast alarm, let alone a standard alarm clock.
- setting a recurring alarm to play a podcast from the podcast queue ends up setting an (un-recurring) individual alarm for every single podcast in the queue! I ended up with 40+ individual alarms being made automatically and had to edit/delete them all individually!
- the above issue of multiple, non-recurring alarms being automatically set can be avoided by setting the recurring alarm to play a subscription instead. However, the alarm will only play the latest episode in the subscription. This means that until a new episode is released, you wake up to the same podcast episode every single time the alarm goes off!
- once an alarm is set, it cannot be edited. It must be deleted and a new alarm made.
- cannot be synced with the Apple podcast app.
Inconsistent
This app has not worked all this week and I am so disappointed. When it works it is great, but when it’s not I thank God for waking me up in time for work. Get it together, people!!
Unreliable
The app, even when left on in the background, will not set off consistently.
Could be due to the selection of podcasts I have, haven’t tried debugging it that far to see if different podcasts would make a difference.
It’s a shame, this app could be awesome with a little more work and testing.
Not good
This app is difficult to use and not helpful. Truly a waste of time

I'm awake
Everything I needed, no subscription, no ads. Very simple and clean design. (Except if there are ads built into a podcast recording but that's not the dev's fault.)
Free!
Great free podcast alarm!
Can’t download my own podcast I prefer
Looks like the podcast are on there of the developers choice. He must get some kind of percentage of commission very few podcast to choose from. I would like a refund until he gets it fixed to where I can put my own podcast there.
Great, but limited podcast options
I like it a lot! The only thing is that it doesn’t have my favorite morning podcast, NPR Up First. I’m not sure how hard that is to add. I will update my review to 5 stars when it gets added!
