Podcastle: Podcast Recordings

The app is good, but when it comes to trying to edit or merge recordings thats the biggest issue. Not sure if you have to subscribe before being able to merge audios together or not but theres literally nowhere to be able to crop or merge an audio. As soon as you leave a recording, another one begins thats a completely different category from your original recording. Its soooo annoying and seriously has been holding me back from submitting my project to my class. Its literally the last thing that I need to do. Pathetic really.

This app/website could be amazing if they could figure out how to make sure the audio uploads. We’ve had 3 major recording sessions where the audio only uploads a certain percentage of the recording. Their customer service support is not very knowledgeable or helpful to issues.

I found Podcastle reviewed in YouTube and decided to try it for starting my podcast. It seemed great and I was glad to use the free option initially. After scheduling a session myself and my cohost tried to join and we’re unable to see or hear each other. We had to recreate the invite link and we’re then able to join. Then after the show I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for things to upload. I did a 2 minute into and it’s still upload (after an hr?!) is this normal ???

I like the app but I can’t do anything but record. Even when I log in through the internet to see if I can edit my podcast it says open app. But the app doesn’t let me edit at all….

This has been a nightmare experience for us. From the very beginning we’ve had issues with Podcastle kicking guests out, not uploading recordings properly, and even having a recording completely disappear after it said it was processed and saved. Absolutely horrible experience. I would highly look at paying for another platform subscription (even if it’s a little more) so that you can avoid the nightmare that is Podcastle.

How do I make a project on mobile? I can only make a podcast.

Made my account with a valid email and waited 40 minutes for a verification code that finally came just to be invalid and it was less than 10 minutes old. I even tried to make a second account with my junk email and has the same issue. Nothing in the spam folders either. I couldn’t join the podcast because I never received a valid code. Just embarrassing.

Confirmation code sent to my spam email then when I try to sign up it says my password is wrong when I try to reset it it just takes me back to the main page of the app but doesn’t give me anywhere to reset a password. This is so frustrating.

You cannot record what you want I don’t get sound effects I hate the app you should not download it just waste storage on your iPad or i phone. can you cannot hear what you recorded it is a very slow app. you should not get it
