Description

Poke Album helps you organize and manage your collection of the Pokemon Go gift postcards. Just take a screenshot and let Poke Album do the rest.
While collecting Pokemon Go gifts is as easy as taking a screenshot, Photo Library is not the best place to keep track of hundreds of gift cards. With Poke Album you can build your collection in a whole new way, with easy browse, search, World Map view mode and statistics!
HOW IT WORKS
• Take one or more screenshots of your new Pokemon Go gift cards before opening them
• Launch Poke Album and let it automatically import the card pictures into your collection
• Poke Album uses image recognition to extract title, location, and the sender friend’s name directly from the screenshot
KEY FEATURES
• Automatically* (or manually) import gift cards from your Photo Library
• Attach additional pictures and view the original screenshots even after they are deleted from your Photo Library
• View and filter list of friends and countries you received the gifts from
• Organize your gifts with custom tags, like ‘graffiti’, ‘fountains’, ‘libraries’ or anything else
• View your gifts on the World's Map* and find out which gift is the farthest one from your current location
• Use iCloud to backup* and restore your album, or sync it between multiple devices
• Free up the device's storage and declutter your Photo Library by deleting already imported screenshots, which are now stored in the Poke Album app
PRO FEATURES PACK
You can use Poke Album completely free, or you can get Pro Features pack with awesome features like automatic import of screenshots, the World's Map with your gifts, standard and custom collections, and secure iCloud backup of the album.

This is great! But can we please get the US states separated too into a list not just countries.

Love this app

I’ve been using this app for a couple years and love it. I wish I could have it set to auto delete screenshots on import and that the import of new stickers wasn’t so problematic but it’s still an app I wouldn’t want to be without. Thank you!

Used to work fine, now broken. (FIXED)

Used to be amazing, now it can’t finish scanning screenshots without the app crashing and not completing the scan. Nothing fixes, not even deleting and re-installing. Hopefully next update will fix and I can change review. Otherwise great product. ———————————————————————- This issue has been fixed and having given the app several loads has not been found again. True to my word the review is 5 stars as the app deserves. Super convenient and a great product.

This app boots me out every time I try to manually put in a postcard. I tried to reach support with no help.

Super Fun, One Bug, Some Missing Features

I really love this app and I have soooo much fun with it!! There’s one bug that is super frustrating, which is that the name of the postcard will often have random letters or symbols in front of it when the postcard is added. I think this is specifically an issue with postcards that have stickers. Things I hope they add in the future: - I wish there was a way to scan screenshots of postcards that were pinned in the Pokémon Go app. I’d really love to import all of the cool postcards I received before hearing about this app on Reddit. - I also wish there was a way to sort postcards sent by a single trainer. I have a lot of accidental duplicate postcards (sent on different days) that I don’t want. If I could sort the postcards alphabetically I’d be able to properly clean up my albums. Otherwise great! If you’re reading this review get the app, but be warned it’s addictive. ;)

You need to manually check the location.

If you input the coordinates that most postcards are automatically assigned into Google Earth, you will find that many of the locations are incorrect. I usually then try my best to find the correct location coordinates so my gift map will be more accurate. However, there are many postcards where I am unable to pinpoint their correct location. There is a small bug where clearing the location to empty and saving will not actually save the new empty location. I had to input a period in order for the app to recognize that I wanted a null location. Postcards screenshotted from the in-game Postcard Book are NOT currently recognized. Trying to scan them in anyway will cause the postcard image to rotate 90 degrees. It would be helpful if there was some way to note what sticker each entry had. I collect sticker variations of the postcard locations as well. At the moment, I’m currently using a tag for the stickers, but it would be really great if there was a better way to implement this information. (Perhaps have a way to allow users to make their own collections?) There is a sort option in the Album and Friends tab, but there is no sort option after clicking on one of your friends in the friend tab. What if I want to see all of Friend A’s postcards chronologically? Or Alphabetically? Improvement suggestions aside, I’m really enjoying the app! My previous postcard collection method didn’t include a map, so it’s really nice to see all my collected postcards pinpointed on the map. The map alone makes the Pro version worth it!

Doesn’t work on cards saved in the in-app album

SHSirota on

Seems like a great app to have if it worked on the cards you’ve saved to your in app album. I hope this is fixed.

Love it!

Works really well, fun to see where all the different gifts come from. Very unique app!

Great when it works

… but it hasn’t worked since April 18 for me. 🙁
