No iPad optimization
Suddenly, there is no optimization for iPad, so the game looks too low poly, poor graphics and visuals(
Half as optimized at Pocket
I would adore this and play it more if it had nearly the same amount of effort that pocket has developed. Playable, but ranked gets irritating when I lose games due to bugs in me being unable to play cards or screen glitching or server crashing… Pocket is simpler but it got me back into the standard TCG and I just wish they would invest a little more into this market now that everything is booming and card sales/demand is at an all time high…. Competitive scene would see an increase and so would this apps usage.
Just stupid
They pick the worst times to update this game. In the middle of the day when people are in matches. I’ve had this happen multiple times since I’ve gotten the app. Every time so close to a victory an the app freezes an states reconnecting and then you get an update message; and it kicks you out. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
It’s not great…
Sure, this was a port and it’s a great port, but IRL gameplay AND current gameplay suffer from so many intricacies that you seemingly can’t win with a starter deck the game gives you. One time even all 6 of my prize cards were energy cards, and even got to face down a dev (don’t know, but sure seemed like it) over my 0-5 loss streak off of my first time playing. Even with that other Pokémon card game that had dumbed things down to a rock, this is the least fun card game of any kind I have played. Literally no skill is involved, just money.

As long as you either already KNOW or READ UP on the trading card game you will LOVE this game!!!!
Don’t waste your time
App is super broken. Will freeze upon minimizing and you will LOSE any card packs you were foolish enough to redeem through it. Edit: And if you think support will be any help- their response is essentially “tough luck, buy more!”
