Description
Polar Scope Align will calculate the position of Polaris or σ Octantis in your Polar Scope reticle for your location (using your phone's GPS or manually), allowing a quick and accurate polar alignment. It is one of the few programs that are accurate in lower latitudes by correcting for atmospheric refraction (so expect results to agree only with precise software and not most simplistic "polar align" apps - see the "Accuracy" section in help for details). It will even allow you to measure and correct a centering error of the reticle. In the settings you can select from a vast collection of reticles, one that matches your own. Pretty much every reticle in the market is supported:

-Alt-az alignment error display for mounts that calculate it after star alignment (e.g. iOptron iEQ45, CEM60).

Outil ultra précis, vite devenu indispensable en astronomie amateur. Et pour ceux qui ne supportent pas l’anglais, langue universelle des sciences et techniques, changez de hobby 🙂
Avis rectifié
Après m être penché plus longuement sur cette application, je modifie mon premier avis car ps align me permet de bien positionner la polaire dans le réticule de mon télescope. Par contre, je maintiens qu une version française sur les points principaux de cette application aurait très sincèrement était un grand plus. Merci

PS Align est super précis et donne d’excellents résultats pour la photo ! Un grand bravo aux développeurs pour cette application très bien réfléchie précisément comme esthétiquement!

Fait exactement ce qu’on lui demande, à mon sens la meilleure application du genre, indispensable pour des mises en station parfaite et facile.

Écart de quelques minutes
Application trèpratique cependant, il y a un écart dans l’affichage du temps HA dans l’application et Polarscope de Pierroastro, environ de 3´ ce qui est relativement important.

Simple et efficace
Simple à utiliser et très précis pour faire l’alignement polaire d’une monture GoTo avec le même réticule que celui de la monture. Merci.
