This was a great game overall, controls took a little while to get used to. It reminds me of Mario Bros for the N64. The games were tough but not impossible until the very last level. I did the first 10 for free, watched a couple ads for hints but didn’t need many. They limit the hints to a couple a day so that you are “encouraged” to pay for their unlimited hints purchase, so heads up. I liked the game so much at that point that I paid for the second half of levels ($1.99). They were very much like the previous levels, tricky, required a piece of paper and a pen for some (although they do have an in-game photograph feature which is great). Then, I got to the last level. It was absurdly difficult. So much so that I said screw it, I quit (already tapped out on my ad viewing hints). The puzzles were extremely convoluted and difficult to follow. I play these games all the time and consider myself adept at figuring them out. But these were just hard for the sake of being so. I came back the next day just to see, the ad based hints reloaded and I was able to progress past the point I was stuck. Got through the next couple puzzles on my way to the end and bam! Hit with an absolutely ridiculous puzzle, no reference nothing. Luckily I had one last ad based hint because the solution was just something most would never have thought of. I didn’t even bother working the puzzle, just typed the 4 digit code and walked through the door. It was a really bad ending to a really good game. I rarely spend money on these games as they are mainly ad revenue generating machines, this wasn’t that bad (just a quickie between levels and if you needed a hint). Other than the last level it was a solid 4 star. Some levels perhaps close to 5 star. At least give it a try and see, doesn’t cost you anything and it’s a welcome change from the stupid point and click action puzzle escape games out there. The interface was refreshing, the music relaxing and the levels were fun and colorful which made you want to continue to play.
NEED MORE LEVELS NEVER STOP WITH THIS GAME I LOVE IT SO MUCH L
The graphics are colorful and clean - no pixel hunting. Landscape works great on iPad - a rare joy these days. Lots of unique and non-redundant puzzles which are logical but sometimes challenging. Each level is different with plenty of exploration in each. I like that most of it is 360 view so I could enjoy the scenery. Collected items can be combined and/or dismantled. Thanks so much for the camera (which I used a lot) and hints, both of which worked flawlessly.
I'm only sad that it's over. This game is unbelievably intelligent and creative. Similar to the Faraway series which I also enjoyed. Both games have multiple levels of logic and puzzle solving. But this game goes the extra step and makes each level completely unique with completely different styles of puzzles and room/scene themes. I've played countless of escape, adventure, point&click games, etc. But this game thoroughly impressed me. It was so unique and above and beyond the typical game. It was well worth the $1.99 for the extra 10 levels. I will have fond memories of this game and will be waiting impatiently for the next game by this developer! Thank you
You can only play 10 rooms, then you have to pay, but still worth getting for the 10 rooms. A couple of puzzles were a little to hard for me, had to cheat and look at the help clues twice, but still worth playing.
